for ur information, i never use ICSSGS stock kernel coz right after flash the rom, i run the rom, and then reboot back to cwm and directly flash to semaphore kernel.

ICSSGS RC4.2. yeah, i would give it a run till i go home (im outside now) so i would get feedback on normal use. but yeah, it is generally not so good so far, i would report the difference once i change to semaphore kernel.

for me after comparing both kernels.. there is a difference! trust me on that! smile.gif i felt a major in terms of speed between the original kernel and semaphore..

I think the low storage refers to ur internal sd where u have most of ur downloaded apps. That should be the one that is consuming the space. Don't quite remember sms having high storage space. Coz I set auto-delete

And also have a good battery life, 12h? 15h? 17h? thats normal already for me with this rom. Easy to say, just need charge 1 times/day. Btw, the stock browser also good already no need to install opera or else. So if you guys ask me, yes i would recommend this ROM for daily use. But if u guys not satisfied with me, dont blame me coz maybe we got diff point happy.gif

Yeah, I'd recommend ICS too. Looks like the battery life's quite ok. Not so draining like it ways back then on AOSP Gingerbread. Maybe you can try the one in my signature smile.gif

Android OS with high% in ICS is just a mistake/bug in display. Actually it doesn't drain your battery. It's just that it displays a high usage. The exchange service is what you might want to have a look I would say smile.gif

head to \system\etc\init.d\ and delete a script. I think it's called something like enable oc.. sorry forgot the exact words, should be the 1st one

Anyone can answer for me..?running ICSSGS rite now..cant use my browser bcoz it force close and cant go to external sd..when click external sd its nothg there...

found it just chat with icssgs people at their chatroom..

There is 2 download "I9000" & "I9000B".
Should I get two of them?

I flash the Semaphore_ICS_0.8.1.zip using Odin3 first with Re-partition un-ticked?

Then I install ICSSGS Rc4.2?
Should I Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition and also Wipe Dalvik Cache?

Correct? hmm.gif

i9000B for samsung captivate if i'm not wrong...
i9000 for galaxy s

Just flash ICSSGS first bocz if u flash sempahore then flash the rom,it will b back to stock ICSSGS kernel then u need to flash semaphore back.....

Yes wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition and also Wipe Dalvik Cache after flash..

i9000B is for Bell carrier, specifically for Brazil. For installation method, refer to Flashing ICS on first post or the link by disasternero, it's the same smile.gif

l now on gamerzrom.. satisfied already cause no 'blank display problem. just front camera not working when you take pictures.

just a little problem, that my game not running smooth as they mention. i play COIN DOZER. it lags when most of the coin+ prize+ bonus turn up together...
