I'm using ICGSS (on your advice) What i noticed so far, there is some kind of slowness.
Is this normal? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « android OS eating 30% while exchange so much! keep in mind that this 7hrs of discharging at night while im sleeping! (so no activities). in the evening i would install the semaphore kernel. cause im at the stock kernel of ICGSS This post has been edited by night_wolf_in: Feb 18 2012, 12:52 PM |

QUOTE(gajahwhite @ Feb 18 2012, 12:56 PM) ICGSS? or ICSSGS RC4.2 or got another one name similar ICSGS2 V3.0.. ICSSGS RC4.2. yeah, i would give it a run till i go home (im outside now) so i would get feedback on normal use. but yeah, it is generally not so good so far, i would report the difference once i change to semaphore kernel.for ur information, i never use ICSSGS stock kernel coz right after flash the rom, i run the rom, and then reboot back to cwm and directly flash to semaphore kernel. not so sure with ur pic, but try see how long ur phone can stand. |

QUOTE(gajahwhite @ Feb 20 2012, 09:12 PM) well.. that's the safest way (for me) i guess.. i went directly from 2.4.0 so no need for XXJVU first.ermm.. better wait for Crossover reply.. b4 this he use THS.. then he try use ICSSGS.. but revert back to THS.. here is my report after i changed the kernel from the default ICSSG RC4.2 to semaphore 1- Finally the phone is usable. 2- speed, yes good one. 3- Battery life is much much better. i found one bug which caused the phone to reboot. "cropping image" to use for single pic in photo gallary widget. This post has been edited by night_wolf_in: Feb 21 2012, 02:25 AM |
