Some courier company will evaluate the parcel depending the value. e.g. Invoice sticked on the parcel. If no invoice, moslty, the parcel will be opened up for checking purpose.

If the invoice value are lower than RM500, 99% it will never run into getting tax. Else, if RM500 and above, 101% get taxed.

KL Sentral - Bus to LCCT, ask the driver if he can stop @ the Rumah Pos before reaching LCCT. RM8 per journey/one way

it's actually just a short walk from LCCT, so just stop at LCCT and walk over there, you'll see the place right before the bus turns into LCCT

Yup..since they are categorized as weapons..

They might even ask for undertable money if you really want it.

Or maybe you're really lucky that the customs officers didn't open up the parcel..

How long would a parcel take to arrive through SAL if I order through HLJ?
I ordered an item from HLJ using EMS and it was super fast believe me...
The item was shipped from Japan on 27 Mar and it arrived at the customs on the 29 of Mar. Just received the item from Pos Laju today.

I plan to order a shirt so I don't think it will be damaged in any way through rough handling if i opt for SAL.

Hmm... is SAL method of shipping really that unreliable?
SAL is cheaper than EMS so I wanna know what is the delivery time to reach our shores?
Btw, I dont think that the item will be lost provided that the right address is printed on the parcel

sweat.gif What i mean just probability. I didn't mean it to be bad. Of course, I'm maybe around 1 of 500 unlucky customer who get 11 out of 12 product I bought.

So it's your call. Use it or not.

Well..the meaning of lost here is maybe the postman or custom officers misplaced the parcel since it is not trackable.
Since its not trackable..the post office will not be able to locate your parcel if its missing..

Its better to use EMS if your stuff worth alot!

Wow..that's really fast!!

According to HLJ
SAL: 7-45 days (varies greatly by country -- Brazil, Belgium and Italy are especially slow)

Some ppl here said that they sometimes receive their stuff via SAL after around a month.
