Lolz..everything is in customs list la..except for a few stuff..

And I said once..means I've ordered soundtracks & DVDs about 50 times and only once kena tax..

I guess maybe your item is small. So bigger chance the custom let go. My 2x order from HLJ got tahan and tax by custom. The box is big. So probally think the item is high price. Got another item shipping out from HLJ this week. This time they using EMS. The item is small but price exceed RM500. Will see kena tahan or not.

not really, my movies and games nvr kena tahan no matter from HK or US, uh oklah, from US kena tahan once, wat to do big box with 5 boxsets hahaha

toys are actually exempted from tax so maybe that's why you didn't get taxed, stuff like model kits and figures are not considered toys it seems.

ems over 500 you might be able to get off, but pray pray loh, happen to me once before, over RM500 big box too, but pass

The latest item size box around 1000+mm x 600mm x 150mm.

hmmm looks like I need to visit the custom next week, a parcel from Hobby Search got held, less than RM500 using EMS. *sigh* sometimes they really nothing better to do and simply hold stuff, have to waste bus ticket to go there and collect

Does HS paste the invoice at the side of the parcel/box?

yeah they do, the put it inside an envelop and stick it on the box

Well..if you're staying at Penang, you can go to the custom's office located at Butterworth. I heard from the customs officers that people from Perlis or Kedah also go to Butterwoth Customs to collect their detained parcels..weird -.-

Whats the reason? The last time I ordered stuff from eBay, they sent me a letter stating that I need to provide them an invoice since there is no invoice on the box.

Since HS sticked the invoice on the box..I wonder why they detain your parcel..

you know why, for the heck of it loh, my fren also kena before, buta buta go there, pay 18 bucks for form, ask u open it for them and see, then lepas.

RM18??! The hell..kena detain liao summore must pay for the damn form..

depends on ur luck loh, if lucky no need form also can go one, if unlucky the no choice have to buy the form

u must know the officer to go to during taksiran 1 particular officer lurve to ask u go get custom form, while the rest are quite friendly and settle very fast

Last sunday go declare and kena tax. But no need form. Just pay the tax. Save me RM18.

Added on February 21, 2008, 12:58 amAsk the poslaju declare for you. They will send a letter to you. Feel it up and send/fax back the form. The parcel will send to the nearest pos office and pay there.

So far they din call me..they just sent a letter via poslaju..

From my experience..
If your AIRMAIL parcel got detained, they will use normal mail to inform you. If your EMS parcel got detained, they will use PosLaju instead ^^.

But so far they din call me..maybe Butterworth customs lazy..

3x kena tahan and call me 2x. But strange. Yesterday go there declare. Explain to the stupid custom what is this use for(air brush). Than ask me go to counter 2 declare custom form. My heart said sure kena tax liau. But instead the officer told me just paid the custom form RM18 with no tax. Wasting my time and petrol just to ask me declare without a tax.

My god..I hope this wont happen to me..I thought any stuff worth RM500 and below should pass customs without any problems..
