Ya, they should change their process of working like that.
Shouldn't we write a petition to the management?? It might be useless. |

"Pig Brain" on working ma...
I had to go down Custom there Transport RM18 and fill another stupid form where the item didn't get tax also for another RM18... Total waste, RM18 + RM18 = RM36 I don't understand why I need to include my shipping address since I need to collect my item from custom side. Unless, the item send direct to my house, I have nothing to argue. |

QUOTE(deejay220989 @ Mar 5 2008, 02:44 PM) Sometimes they do that..well I dunno for what but the Pegawai Kastam told me sometimes they do that randomly.. That's why I suggest we write out a petition to their management or what.So far Butterworth Customs dun do that unless there is no invoice sticked on the box. It seems that KLIA Customs loves to buat kacau lolz! If I really got taxed, I don't mind paying them and wasting time. But if not, Why should I waste another RM36 + time for something that doesn't get taxed??? |

Some courier company will evaluate the parcel depending the value. e.g. Invoice sticked on the parcel. If no invoice, moslty, the parcel will be opened up for checking purpose.
If the invoice value are lower than RM500, 99% it will never run into getting tax. Else, if RM500 and above, 101% get taxed. |

QUOTE(raptor_cZn @ Mar 31 2008, 09:29 PM) How long would a parcel take to arrive through SAL if I order through HLJ? but you might encounter loss of product....I ordered an item from HLJ using EMS and it was super fast believe me... The item was shipped from Japan on 27 Mar and it arrived at the customs on the 29 of Mar. Just received the item from Pos Laju today. I plan to order a shirt so I don't think it will be damaged in any way through rough handling if i opt for SAL. |

QUOTE(qwer312 @ Apr 1 2008, 02:56 PM) anyone know how the charges of credit card if the payment need to be in USD ? I still finding the cheapest alternative of credit card since cant apply it. But found that paypal = useless if no US bank account, western union = at least rm50 charges, international bank transfer = at least rm50 too What do you mean?? QUOTE(raptor_cZn @ Apr 1 2008, 04:11 PM) Hmm... is SAL method of shipping really that unreliable? SAL is cheaper than EMS so I wanna know what is the delivery time to reach our shores? Btw, I dont think that the item will be lost provided that the right address is printed on the parcel So it's your call. Use it or not. |

QUOTE(300078 @ Apr 4 2008, 10:55 AM) I seldom buy spray so i am not really sure loh! But masking tape if just the reload pack it would be way cheaper than RM20! Should be around RM10+-! I can easily get one AB but not compressor 1314 is time to invest on an AB! Those paint u can obtain around RM5.50 per bottle is reasonable! Come join the dark side! Maybe I try spray spray first... after got good skill, only start invest in AB lar.. |

You've mistaken. HLJ are far more cheaper than local shops....Well if you complain about shipping fee, use the ruler and measure |

QUOTE(ozak @ Apr 4 2008, 10:25 PM) Not local shop ler. Hong kong site. I think you better do some research first. And btw, I'm comparing HK and Japan lar.. that's why I ask you to take out ruler and measure... shipping of course will be more expensive lar.Added on April 4, 2008, 10:40 pm Are you sure? I ve compare few site. HK site is the cheapest. I brought most of the item from HK site. Example, just received a Tamiya spray booth from HK site two days ago. HK site + shipment cost = rm513 HLJ + shipment cost = rm643 Rainbouten(japan) + shipment cost = rm600 sites? for the HK shop you mentioned? QUOTE(ozak @ Apr 5 2008, 12:35 AM) Not just shipment. Some item is cheaper than HLJ. Brought some Tamiya warship. And alot cheaper than HLJ. One thing I don't like about HLJ is they canot lower the invoice price for custom tax purpose. So 80% from them kena tax. But the HK sites no problem. They just put a dummy invoice as I request. Brought few time and never kena tax before. again...Try this two site and you will never buy from HLJ. luckymodel.com hobbyeasy.com If you can't find anything from this two sites, try this japan site. Abit cheaper than HLJ and can lower invoice price for custom clearance. rainbowten.co.jp Added on April 5, 2008, 12:41 am Most of the shipping cost almost cost our item 1/3 of the price. The item is not expensive but the shipping is expensive. And we can't buy in big quantity to save the shipping cost. After all we are enduser. So it is best to find the lowest shipping cost site to buy. I don't care how far thier country from us. My wallet is important. Imagine I buy 1 kits from an ebay seller @ hongkong. he charge me USD 22.9 for shipping alone |
