It is non-oc. Use 7zip, right click on part 1, extract will produce a .zip file. Put that into your /sdcard/. Use CWM flash it.
Non OC also swap memory ?

How to know whether the phone have been rooted.
I runned the zergrush and it said all done and i also downloaded cwm recovery but when i tried to install busybox it said that the phone not yet rooted.
Is there a way to know whether the phone is rooted.

If your phone is rooted then you will have a new application called "Superuser" in your application list. If don't have means your phone wasn't successfully rooted.

The superuser app i downloaded it frm andriod market.
Than i might try another way to root the phone.

Check your 'About Phone' to see your rom version. Is it 2.3.6? If it's 2.3.6, zergrush won't work. Use recovery method. In fact that one is even easier...

SGW stock 2.3.6 USB tethering to Ubuntu appears broken. Ubuntu complains of "bad CDC descriptors"

Anybody know any fix?

Got my phone to run the cow's rom ! Now how do i transfer all my stuff using samsung's programs? Can't even transfer songs or connect to it in the first place. sad.gif

as my earlier posted..i failed to get KIES working in both NON OC n Slim rom from cow..

the only solutions for me was restore back stock rom... sweat.gif

just connect via usb storage, go to settings>applications>development>tick usb debugging. i never use kies tongue.gif

I always use USB mass storage to transfer file to my phone...

Y U NO USE USB MASS STORAGE TRANSFER?

Even I'm using stock rom I also never bother to use KIES after first experience. Not useful at all...
