Ouch... I played games for 3 hours and V3 closed(ended by spamming posts ) and now V4 comes.

Anyone have problem with FC of messaging? When you got a new message, you unlock the screen and messaging goes FC. Can be solved by a restart but it will happen after some time. Quite annoying. I think some apps caused that but I don't think I can find out what app is that. If anyone has permanent solution please do share.

I'm also using 2.3.6 stock. In fact, the first two days I received the phone out of the box in 2.3.5 and never receive any message within that period. Then updated to 2.3.6. I'm having FC issue only when I try to UNLOCK the MESSAGE ICON on LOCKSCREEN. Only in LOCKSCREEN. After I unlock it, it pops up and FC. The first two times I encounter this I restarted the phone and this time I close all those background apps(Juice Defender Ultimate, 3G WatchDog Pro and Circular Battery Indicator. Then tried to send a sms to this phone and it works. I enabled them back one by one until all enabled but No FC Issue. I don't think that got to do with push message.

No lea... Their power output is diffferent. Samsung 0.7A, Sony 0.85A while voltage is both 5V. Theoretically, that sony charger should charge your phone a little faster

Yes because you can play 1080p with external video player, without Hardware Decoding(Means the Software decode it using CPU, not using GPU. Adreno 205 is not designed for 1080p decoding)
No because its video stutters BADLY even on external video player. Internal video player will say 1080p is unsupported. I'm using Vplayer. Video stutters, frame rate decrease a lot but audio plays no prob.

8 hours? My longest record was 48 hours. Sometimes last for 8 hours or 12 hours but I want sleep d, just plug in the charger even though it still has 30~50% We never knows how much we need it for a whole new day

BTW, if you planning to go for iphone/ipad, either you decide to Jailbreak it else you prepare to pay for those apps. The fun of android is, without rooting, you can still have very much fun with ur phone. Rooting just gives it EXTRASSSS.

Yours should be isolated case. Not a common case, at least none of us here faced the problem.

Full HD Video Recording... Seriously? Full HD Refers to 1080p which is 1920x1080. I don't think Galaxy W can record 1080p

I bought mine (just few hours ago) 16GB Class 4 Kingston for RM59. 16GB Class 10 Kingston went for RM159, too expensive. Saw another brand, Patriot, 16GB Class 10 for RM89 but It's about 50% more expensive compare to Class 4 Kingston so I didn't buy that.

No FC issue for me on Papago. Yes, Garmin is still the best for me. Papago offers too less features. I haven't install SYGIC.

Where u get RM54? I walked to my nearby mall and bought it for RM59. I survey lowyat price around RM58. No need go so far, save transportation, better I buy at that mall. The place i bought, All IT Express selling 16GB Class10 Kingston for RM159, Patriot for RM89. I'm not sure about Patriot brand so I got a 16 GB class 4 instead.

I'm using Vplayer. Weird can't HW decode MKV. Got sound no image. I'm sure I'm playing 720p file. Stock player says it's unsupported.

PC 512MB get 504? Quite impossible lea. PC should get full. Not full only if you shared memory for graphics.

On Data(connected, less transfer) it should lasts a day. Around 3% an hour on standby. If keep on with data transfer then battery drop like water flow...

Means hor... Like you use streamyx, your PC can be on and connected to the internet but it is NOT A MUST to have data transferring all the time. Get it? It's like in idling state.

Use juice defender ultimate. Really many options for you to set...

Go Locker? I think my friend is using that but I never bother to try. That day play his phone I unlock screen keep go see his message. After a while only I notice that different direction got different apps.

Can try downclock to 1GHz see whether smooth enough? I'm still on stock, not rooted and my friend using desire S not rooted too. When playing Where's My Water, seems like my battery drain a lot faster than his. But his chipset runs on 1GHz. Interested to know whether downclocking to 1GHz enough for daily use or not.

Your low memory killer refer to android default or you did something to that? Why Samsung always choose to close Launcher before any other apps... My launcher needs reload everytime I exit from a game (where's my water, cut the rope... ... ...) or after browsing full web(Youtube, desktop version or flash game). Kinda annoying. I'm making myself to get pissed off very soon so that I will root this bloody device

It moves to EXT_SD. I tried once but then moved them back to Internal memory. My micro SD only for SYGIC Map and 5GB++ of songs. 16GB left 6~7GB at expense. All picture/video taken also in micro SD. Internal memory 3XXMB/0.99GB free. USB Storage 7XXMB/1.7GB free. I think that's fine. Like that I take out micro SD at most I can't listen to music and use SYGIC. I still got Papago in USB Storage

SYGIC can straight put in External SD. Tested. Papago need recompile APK to move it to external. I keep papago in Internal because its map is more complete compared to SYGIC map.

Import the CSV file to google contacts. Then sync your google account on your phone.

No FC issue so far.

But I tried... It really moved to external.
