Lol, so weird. Everytime i reflash Cow's rom, after 1 day will start having error out of the blue. I wiped data, cache and delvik cache before reflash. Before you ppl say I install too many apps, I only install poweramp, GO sms, battery ETA and advance task killer cuz i like that more than standard task manager. After 1 day or few hours, will start crashing. Example of force close program is endless, zeamlauncher, market, android process. Then sometime cant access camera and also when wanna connect to wifi =, wifi will auto off. HAHA. when this happen, I just reflash cuz I need to contact ppl quite a lot. Dun wanna waste time waiting for fix. But it is troublesome cuz i lose data and have to reinstall some programs...

Anyway, this is NOT a rant. Just honestly telling my problem, hoping for advice/fix. I'm not bashing the rom, just reporting. Thanks in advance.

??? Why disappoint? I read review said it's built quite nicely. If I'm not wrong. Huawei devices are made by foxconn(I think so... Can't even 50% sure). I think everything is fine here. Somemore huawei is now into malaysia market. They provide two years Local warranty. Last time rarely see huawei in Malaysia. Huawei big chipset company lea. Colour not accurate, loss details caused some blur on photo

Some people managed to solve the problem by NOT restoring any app / contact. Install new app. Contact, sync with goolge contact, etc. I don't recommend restoring app (using Titanium or not) because the new ROM swap your internal / external SD. there could be problem. for that matter, if you start getting crash and all, best you format / clear both your internal / external sd card before flashing.

in short, if you follow everything documented here, but still has FC, you still have 2 options:

1) Provide me the logcat where I can diagnose it:
- connect phone to notebook
- adb logcat > log.txt
- do something on the phone to cause FC
- in notebook Task Manager, kill all adb processes
- PM me the log.txt

2) Restore back to stock ROM. I think this is most stable

Okay, I did not try to restore as when i first tried, titanium restore hangs at 0% but the files appear installed. Now I'm not restoring since i was afraid this causes FC.

For the bolded part, does it mean i delete everything in internal/ sd card? or use wipe data from recovery cuz i tried this only. havent tried wiping whole internal/sd. And if i wipe my memory, after I reformat, i just put your rom into internal sd and flash izzit? And when i reformat my internal memory/sd, i can still go into recovery? or need to install ancora again? Thanks for the help cow^^

If you have reformat everything the last ROM you had flashed will always be there including recovery....so thetefore as a conclusion if you wipe..format..wipe delvik the phone will load with the last flashed ROM totally fresh like a factory reset.

Forget about Titanum BackUp...I personally don't believe in this unless you really know what you are doing

Always make sure USB debugging is turned ON when restoring using TBP

the p1 battery not so great compare with honor. only slimmer.

for most smartphone user. battery will be the first priority.

huawei already enter international market.

somehow they said not capable to run... So no ICS for Galaxy S, thats why came out the idea -> Galaxy S Advance lolx...

Hmm.. interesting. Can you provide logcat so I can check?

Same for anyone getting error / FC, without some details, it's hard for me to check what's going on.

arco68 has officially decided to give full force for our ICS / CM9 as he has dropped his other side development for the HTC Wiildfire.

Latest update an Alpha is very close for the ICS / CM9 release pending for the Camera driver and other patches....

what not capable? i think u may got the wrong info. SGW is definitely capable. the only 'excuse' samsung given is that the ROM has not enough space for ICS. this is totally BS. having built some custom ROM myself, i know this is totally BS.

ICS can run on Galaxy W. CM9 will prove it.
