has anyone tried 2d game like "where's my water" the game play not so smooth?...
my background apps all already closed.

Compare to my previous bada phone which has only 256mb ram can run 3d game so smooth lolx.. this W got 512mb ram yet cant play smooth... huhuhu...

i had done the factory reset... but the button still the same.. what a luck having this phone..bought and used 2nd day already spoilt showing batt over heated. went to service centre changed the main board caused of current leakage.. and now comes this prob.

??? Why disappoint? I read review said it's built quite nicely. If I'm not wrong. Huawei devices are made by foxconn(I think so... Can't even 50% sure). I think everything is fine here. Somemore huawei is now into malaysia market. They provide two years Local warranty. Last time rarely see huawei in Malaysia. Huawei big chipset company lea. somehow they said not capable to run... So no ICS for Galaxy S, thats why came out the idea -> Galaxy S Advance lolx...

kezra v4 is a good choice! but, step by step, root first... get ClockWorkMod first...

ClockWorkMod replace your "recovery" partition. Every smart phone has a recovery partition. Something bad happen, you can press the magic key, code inside the recovery partition will execute. Usually used to restore the phone back to factory setting.

Once you follow the process to replace the default "recovery" partition, whenever you press that magic key, ClockWorkMod will start. Developer added functionality in CWM so that you can format phone, install custom ROM, etc.

you seem quite confused about rooting and recovery.

root = get admin access in your phone. u can root by:
1) running exploit such as zergrush, may not work in your phone is fully udated
2) flash the recovery partition using Odin. should always work regardless if your phone is updated. but installing CWM only first step. you are not getting ROOT yet. you still need to use CWM to install a custom ROM / kernel that will root the phone for you.

so, usually installing CWM is normally quite safe. no need to backup anything. wont change your app. (but i did backup my original recovery partition just in case if wanna claim warranty or anything)

once u use CWM to install custom ROM, this is the part that will drastically change your phone OS and app. that is why, before you install any custom ROM, you are always reminded to use CWM to do a full backup on your phone. the built-in backup and restore in CWM will do that for you.

without them, very hard to install custom ROM. moreover, they are good because if anything goes wrong, can use them to restore the phone.

okay if u want test the behavior of rooted phone, then find n install Root Explorer in market.
u will find more hidden files in ur phone than normal file explorer(stock My Files)

so basicaly the root phone is purpose to install others ROM, or let say change our pc OS like
ubuntu-windows-linux-redhat

but in android we called ROM with many version (CM,MIUI,Cow)

To change launcher, simply install a new one. It will ask whether you want to make it default. About the turn on wifi +sleep crashed, this has been fixed long time ago... emm... Slim Shady no affected. Latest ROM not affected...

Actually, you dont need root to see that. Reboot, Go to settings, application, running services. check what is running. on my rom, only the following running:

- Settings
- Task manager
- Swype

(Sometimes Google Services too, but safe to kill)

Can definitely kill any of them. But if u dont want it to start after reboot, should uninstall it.

if rooted, i think can use tool to freeze it...

definitely not everyone. LOL. those post here, mostly got problem. LOL. headache! not easy to maintain a ROM. easier if i just get it work in my phone. anyway, i m now testing another fun stuff minmax cpu governor.

may be it got to do with Market cache. try go to "Setting", "Application", "Manage Application", "Market", "Clear cache" ?
