Hi cow ^^ u suing oc cow rom ? nor non oc version ? if u using non oc version and opening 4 window without lag tht is a big improvement !!!!

i m always using OC ROM now testing the 4 windows stuff.

i experience some lag a moment ago, for like 15 seconds or so when browsing... then i check, my Plants vs Zombie no longer in memory...

i think during that period, lowmemory killer force other app to automatically close in low memory...

after PvZ no longer in memory, browsing smooth again... need more testing

cow, is it possible to totally remove zeam launcher? i'm thinking of using other launcher as default and since you said zeam is integrated into the ram, i thought i could free it up by totally removing it..i wonder if it would cause instability? thanks

Apparently the current lowmemory killer setting is kind of aggressive in killing app. Its difficult for me to open more than 4 heavy memory app. However I only experience 1 time lag for like 15 second when pvz got killed..

At the moment, I am fine with the setting since I prefer to give max memory to the current app by having aggressive low men killer. This is good for game which I don't run more than one at a time. But if you multi task a lot, I recommend to use super charger v6, to change to multi taking setting.

Added on February 3, 2012, 2:03 pmyes. you can change to any other launcher you like. install your launcher first, then, delete the zeam launcher from /system/app.

the setting i used to make launcher stick in the memory will be applied to your new launcher.

Go Locker? I think my friend is using that but I never bother to try. That day play his phone I unlock screen keep go see his message. After a while only I notice that different direction got different apps.

Can try downclock to 1GHz see whether smooth enough? I'm still on stock, not rooted and my friend using desire S not rooted too. When playing Where's My Water, seems like my battery drain a lot faster than his. But his chipset runs on 1GHz. Interested to know whether downclocking to 1GHz enough for daily use or not.

Your low memory killer refer to android default or you did something to that? Why Samsung always choose to close Launcher before any other apps... My launcher needs reload everytime I exit from a game (where's my water, cut the rope... ... ...) or after browsing full web(Youtube, desktop version or flash game). Kinda annoying. I'm making myself to get pissed off very soon so that I will root this bloody device

low memory killer tweaked using Option 5 from V6 Supercharger, it's embed in all my ROM.

aik, supposed, u just right click on any of them, extract, u should get 1 zip file.... what unzip u use?

I found that,the back button which suppose to exit apps properly doesnt worked.
This eats up alot ram which lead to slowdown and lagging....and sometimes i need to clear ram..
Whats the causes?

unfortunately, i m not really a fan of GTA 3... so, i dont have that game... i heard it is demanding though! hope someone can test and let us know if 1.8ghz will help...

Most app trying to be too smart by NOT exiting. Bad app! Bad app! Browser, Messenger, etc = bad app! Need to kill in task manager, but even if you dont, when you start running game, those app will be closed.

Some app do close normally with back key - Plants vs Zombie, GPS app, Root explorer, etc, etc...

No way to get it legally for free. But yeah, still stutters at 1.8GHz, even when I free off extra RAM just for it. Probably GPU is bottlenecking it.
