A few more from me. 1st gen NEX-5 | manual focus 35mm f1.8 nikkor , not enough reach so I notice most of my shots are 1/2 body.

no you can't do that on F3... only latest model like 5R and 6 able to do that...
cos the body able to charge the battery through cable or you can take the battery out and charge it with external charger...

The NEX-F3 was the first with USB charging. The 5R and 6 followed.

Yup. Thanks. But it's this lens that produced the lovely color actually blush.gif, which is why i really like it. This is why I am very interested to see if e-mount 35mm F1.8 can beat this Nikkor 35mm or not.

hehe..William already covered that thumbup.gif . Ironically, I think his butterfly photo is still more mesmerizing than the model pics.

Ranting..

Sony sony.. I feel abit irritated when you intentionally limit or cripple your own products just for the sake of market segmentation.

- NEX-6 could have had a magnesium alloy body and touchscreen, as clearly you can do it on the NEX-5. But you gave it a polycarbonate body... vmad.gif

- Why can't NEX-7 be weather sealed to compete with OM-d? sweat.gif

- I want a NEX with 18 mpx+ F3 articulate screen + 5N touchscreen and High ISO performance + 6's iso hotshoe + 7's External Mic connector. laugh.gif

i just bought Nex3 last monday which come only with the SEL16F28 lens.
I'm thinking on using my current alpha lens on this nex3.
Is this Kiwifotos Lens Mount Adapter (Sony Alpha / Minolta AF Lens To NEX Cameras Mount Adapter) recommended to be used as the adapter for the lens? I heard that autofocus wont work but besides that, what are the other disadvantages?

Get one which have an aperture control as well. And yes, autofocus would not work on adapters.

can you elaborate more on aperture control?
does it mean I can't change my lens aperture size?
