Hi All, I had my Insight rear bumper crashed, was wondering where and how to repair? Is it wise for me to go to Honda SC to repair and claim my insurance? It's my 1st insurance so it's 0% NCD now...

The workshop is in Jalan Ipoh but my SC in Chan Sow Lin. Not sure whether is a standard where I need to pay RM100 for the runner to handle the police report and etc....Will get my car back on Saturday... QUOTE(alxdc @ Jul 19 2012, 09:27 AM) And may void suspension warranty-absorbers, arms, linkages, as well. At least they might use that as excuse not to warrant those items. The best u can do is keep your OEM 16inc with tyres, when there's problem (leaks, noise) put back the OE rims and go for claim. Most owners do that.QUOTE(br3akerz @ Jul 19 2012, 04:02 PM) i would like to know that this happen to all the insight owner and is it safe to just ignore it ? Normal. My SC cleverer. Okay, I already contact my dealer, it's SriPeringgit on Old Klang Road. Yes they need me to pay the RM100 as well, and it's refundable the person claimed. Added on July 20, 2012, 10:23 am Mine also. Changed mine to 205/50/16 with no issues. In fact, lots of Honda Fit & City owners from other international forums are using this size.Check out Kouki Tech tyre size calculator page, it stated max tyre size for all rim width.Ours are 6jj.Click HEREWith 205, you'll get better cornering qualities and ride is way more stable than stock 185/55/16 and no significant loss of gas consumption. End of the day its what you want.If you hesitate, can always go for slightly expensive stock size for more comfort & quietness.Im happy with my decision of going 205 |
