Paling jimat (highway bawak 100km/j sepanjang jalan) i boleh sampai 750km sebelum lampu warning menyala. Minyak dalan tangki spare cukup untuk melepasi 800km. |

Nice figure there.. Same as mine.. 650km before light up and indicate 50km to go.. But i believe it can go further..Paling teruk tekan pun i dapat dalam 500km. QUOTE(alxdc @ Jul 24 2012, 12:07 PM) It's not that extreme la... as an insighter urself, why you seems very surprised with such figures20km per liter is achievable, in highway driving around 110 You'll get 21-22km/l (iirc) If you drive at 100, it'll raise to 23-24 km/l Average that with normal city driving at 17-19km/l Your total average should hit 19.x km/l Anyway, I think you may have read posts from me where my trip to work is very short (2km) and it's on short stretch of 6 roads of about 250 meter each, where you just physically can't drive up to 60km.. In such a case, I'll just cruise along at acceptable speed around 45km/h since it's just a short stretch of road, with lots of turnings here and there, and a couple of speed bumps to boot! In such a case, it's not like I'm driving slow to purposely get high milleage (which maybe the impression u got), but it just doesn't make sense for me to hit up to 60, 70km/h and then immediately need to step on the brake to make a turn, or because of a speed bump.. I think each driver have their own scenario.. As cbinn mentioned, the optimal speed is actually around 80km/h if you can crusie near that speed, it's possible you will get 28km/l! QUOTE(alxdc @ Jul 24 2012, 09:44 AM) I work in Puchong, so half of the daily journey to office is in jam and the km/l reading is below 18km/l, but I do get good reading on the other half of journey (usually 25km/l), so average out I have about 20+km/l in terms of fuel consumption.Assuming that the computer is accurate in calculating the fuel consumption (I find mine very accurate), 20km/l means 30 liter will give you around 600km. You do not need to drive below 60km/h to achieve this figures, in fact, I found that the best fuel efficiency is achieved when cruising between 70 to 90km/h (the meter normally shows 25 to 28km/l when cruising at this speed range). Therefore, I get best efficiency reading when cruising at road like LDP, federal highway or kesas when it is not jammed. Above 90km/h speed, efficiency started to drop, at 110km/h e.g. north south highway, I only get around 20 - 22km/l. But still, this is far better than any non-hybrid car, which is doing somewhere between 10 to 15km/l in average. Maybe the figures is not much difference if you only travel outstation occasionally, but for me which is doing close to 5000km a month, that will be saving of about RM 500 to RM 600 each month. How to get this figure? You need not drive as slow as 60km/l, but to 'cruise' the car whenever possible (monitor the km/l reading and try to keep it above 20km/l, if can reach 25km/l even better) and maximize regenerative braking (anticipate traffic stop and brake lightly slightly earlier instead of braking hard last minute). I already achieved my highest throphy in a month time, so I set myself a target, at least 20km/l in each trip (see attached pic). Of course occasionally I will miss it e.g. stucked in bad jam in bukit bintang area, but average out, I still doing about 22km/l at the end of each tank of fuel. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Yup I agree with you guys. It's still better than a non hybrid car. I realized that u guys took the information from the multi-display. My opinion, I dont trust it and it may not be accurate. My traveling is something similar to yours and still I cannot achieved what most of you got. Assuming that the computer is accurate in calculating the fuel consumption (I find mine very accurate), 20km/l means 30 liter will give you around 600km. My way of getting the figure which I think is more accurate rather than relying on the display. ( this is Just my point of view). 1st I pump full tank regardless how much Liter. I set my meter to 0. Then travel till the display range show 0 and the meter read say 550km. Then I pump full tank 2nd time. I will use the 2nd full tank liter to calculate. Example 2nd pump full tank is 33 liter, and I use it to calculate with my 1st pump journey which is 550km. So the results I get is 550km devide by 33 liter = 16.6km/liter. My opinion, I dont trust it and it may not be accurate. My traveling is something similar to yours and still I cannot achieved what most of you got. I agree with your way of getting the fuel consumption figures, but come to think about it, I am also calculating it almost the same way, not entirely just reading it out from the MID display. I program my MID LCD display to have trip A automatically reset each time I refuel so I do not have to manually reset it (check the user manual if you want to know how that can be programmed). So my trip A odometer starts from 0km as soon as I filled up my tank to full. Then I drive till the low fuel warning light comes on. At this point, if I look at my trip A odometer, I get on average 650km, and the remaining range displayed by the MID is usually 120+km. The fuel needle on the analogue gauge is roughly pointing at 10% position. From previous experience, I can easily get around another 80 to 90km out of the remaining fuel even after taking into consideration stopping and waiting at traffic jam and junctions. When I refuel at the first moment I get low fuel warning, I usually can feed in around 31 liters of fuel before tank is full. So based on calculation the way you suggested, I can get 650km out of 31 liters, which is 20.97km/l, and that's pretty close to the 21km/l reading calculated and displayed by my MID display. My MID display trip B was never reset from day one I collected my car, so the km/l reading is the average reading of all my driving from the day I collected my car till now. My trip B average reading is currently 21.2km/l. I am targetting to get above 22km/l by this year end, as I am scoring around 23km/l at the end of each tank of fuel right now. Sense of achievement (I dun mind if people think I syok sendiri for this one, at least I syok), saving my pocket and saving the environment. 3 birds with one stone, what more can I ask for? |
