Hi ^^

Want to ask something about this car.

Compare to Myvi and this car, fuel saving which one will be the best? Since this is a hybrid and myvi are really a fuel efficient car.
*
How can you even think to compare the Perodua Myvi with the Honda Insight. Insight is a car produced by Honda, fully imported from Japan, and built specifically as a Hybrid model which is known for being efficient and eco-friendly. And you're comparing that with a Perodua Myvi. I have both, so I think I know the difference. Just my personal opinion. tongue.gif

hi guys. i want to spray paint for the bumper back and front

many scratches, hit & run at open car park in KL sigh..
want to ask, is it best to go back to Honda service center? or just any other workshop would do?
THANKS...........
*
Personally I believe it's safer to send to a Honda service center. As you can see at the door on the front left of the Insight, it warns you to make sure that the car is not put at a place with too high a temperature. So MAYBE, just a small chance, the 'any other workshop' will void that and spoil the battery. sad.gif

Myvi's fc is average and comparable to normal sedan. The same driver will clock significantly better range in a hybrid.

Nice spoiler on your car, bro. If that is your car la. biggrin.gif

what kind of problem?
*
Dislocated. Like it's stuck. I turn it on, it only moves a little to the right (clockwise) then after that, the reverse motion (anti clockwise) will cause it to go all the way out.

chris, this is a gathering of those people with a common interest, that is owning a hybrid vehicle, to share information /problems /issues /knowledge /life-experiences from cars to foods to politics, with a broader and wider audience. Basically a TCSS platform to meet new friends and explore things from different perspective.

It is not meant for crz owners only, bcos if you look closely at the pic, you will find prius c and jazz hybrid overshadowed. The reason of bigger group of crz owners is very simple; these ppl are more pro-active. You want a pure crz only club, there is one just next door. It is not a club for specific cars; it is a gathering of owners. Before you brandished them off like what others have did blindly, take initiative to judge the group yourself.

If we can't open our eyes wide and learn to accept the others, then we are just the same type of people trying convince or justifying-our-hybrid-cars-purchase to the masses from non-hybrid world. We can keep being an introvert and continue living in insight/priusc/crz world, worship our godlike car like there's no tomorrow, but it's just a goddamn car getting us from one point to another.
*
Maybe if you too would open your eyes before jumping the gun and getting emotional, you would stop to think that the person said that because in a glimpse the picture comprises of CR-Zs. You tell people to open their eyes, but you yourself want to simply judge people. I agree what you're saying is right about not being an introvert etc. The only thing you did wrong was getting all emotional just because someone logically assumed that's a CR-Z club. Yea sure we can check the FB link. But let's just assume the person didn't check the link. So c'mon, just relax and assume the best out of people.

Bro, please enlighten me in which way I was being emotional as I was merely explaining the group's motive and existence to chris.  sweat.gif

Everyone is entitled to their personal opinion; one guy was sharing a pic of tt hoping people like us can join in the fun; chris literally shoo people off because of mainly a pool of crz shot; and I just corrected him that there is a prius c and jazz hybrid in the picture.

In what way did I judge chris straightaway based on his post? Did I blatantly accuse him of a thick-headed/dim-witted/arrogant/ignorant? Now you bro, are jumping far ahead....  blush.gif
*
Alright mate. If you say so. Cause I've already said what I believe is right. It is up to you whether to accept it or not. As you said, we are all entitled to our own opinion. I just don't want to see arguments here. We're all enthusiastic about cars. Period. No reason to argue. So please just take a second to take a breath and chill. Peace, buddy. Have a great day aight. smile.gif

Hey man, don't know if this question has been answered before, but, does changing the rims void the warranty though? smile.gif

Hey guys, I'm not here as a promoter but here as an Insight user. We all are acclaimed to how BMWs have nice sunshades that are fitting to the car. Well I've always wanted one for my Insight, as it gets really sunny nowadays, but have not found one. Right now I know one person who can bring in such product but he will only be able to do so if there is demand. So just wanted to find out if anyone here would actually like to have fitted sunshade for our Insight. Here's the link to the product http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2397196/all

If you guys already know of a place where I can get said product, please tell me and sorry for have taking up your time reading this. Thanks!

hm....
did u check ur alignment? did u check it in SC? forget about SC. go to a local tyre shop and let  them check.

But for some cases, u need to send it to a pro to do the job. My advice try sending it to ur regular tyre shop (if u have any) and explain to them ur problem. if ur alignment guy cant solve it, then send it to the pros at Sunway called Ah Kin. He is quite expensive but, worth the money.

Added on September 3, 2012, 4:53 pmim guessing ur insight is year 2012?

Where is this Ah Kin ya? And also, anyone here using XM2? How's it like?

using fully syn (red cap) SL5W40 is useless for hybrid. the oil is too thick for our engine and for regular daily drive car. There is no need such high heat resistant and etc.. needed for hybrid engine and in fact it will make ur engine feel sluggish and high fuel consumption.

Their newly launch fully syn (green cap) some say is semi-syn (SM0W20) is good enough and perfect for our engine.

The newly launch also Eco Friendly SM5W30, too me i think is still too thick for our 1.3 engine hybrid.
*
I myself am using the fully synthetic green cap one. Not bad.
