Hi insight onwer, what is the best and worst fc u guts can get with this car?

How about the noise insulation? Better than city/civic of just the same? Thx
*
Had been logging my petrol pump since oct 2011.

Here is the info as today.
Total Fuel: 732.57L
Total Cost: $1391.88
Total Mileage: 11916km
Fuel Economy: 5.87 L / 100km

The above info is shown by the fuel application.

Overall it is much better than my previous ride Honda City 06 vtec.

Added on February 3, 2012, 6:15 pmRealize from watonk that below link is good info on the fuel consumption of the top 2 hybrids on earth.
http://www.fuelly.com/car/honda/insight
http://www.fuelly.com/car/toyota/prius

How much can you save for average 5.8L / 100km vs 8.0L / 100km for a total mileage of 40000km?
Anyone good at math?

Going to send my car for bodykit installation next week.
For aesthetic the seller suggest me to add on something at the exhaust part (please refer to attachment), according to him, that part cost rm2xx.
blush.gif ....actually i dont know how to name it, izzit called muffler cutter or muffler tip? Where can i get this thing done?
i did ask the seller install it for me, but maybe can get cheaper price outside, so better to ask around before i send in my car icon_question.gif

Best single journey: 31km/l
Best average km/l per tank: 22km/l
Worst average per tank: 17km/l

Normal driving, NVH slightly better than CKD honda.

Higher maintenance cost

RM50, such cheap...luckily i belum kena potong blink.gif
still considering about it, to add or not to add, is a BIG question to me sweat.gif cry.gif
to add, then they will make a curve at the skirt to install the muffler cutter/tip(?); dont add, then no curve will be there, means i can save some money....
I am too nervous to make a decision rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif icon_question.gif

Nothing serious. Mostly related to getting use to the car. Aircond (while auto stop), transition between IMA & combustion engine, some discover oil/grease between IMA motor & engine (isolated case), aircond drain pipe loose etc.

On the other hand, if offers a good balance between power and fuel economy besides considerably good handling. Most of all, since owning one I never even have to think of fuel budget.

Anyone know why Honda Insight Maintenance is higher than other Honda Cars? I remember that during pre-purchase of honda insight, the SA told me the maintenance cost is going to be the same as honda City! And I remember reading in v1 that the cost is to be revise.. but all this never happen rclxub.gif And funny thing is that, while goggling, i never came across any site complaining, is it only Honda Malaysia marking up the cost?

I really wish that Honda will lower the maintenance cost of Honda Insight ... sad.gif
