What are the problems your friend facing?
Just reached 1 year old for my Insight, clocked 33k, service n perform like normal car.
The bad thing is mental toward getting the best FC ...  a little obsessed to drive eco-ly to maintain below 6L/100km / > 19km/L. If somehow not able to get the targeted FC for that tank of fuel, will be little sad...lol

Insight battery??...???

I own one and driving like normal only.... maybee he not used to auto start stop kua...

Honda warranty the insight battery for 5 years... should not give any problem since under the T&C of warranty Honda replace the defective unit at 1 go.... wonder why he sell haha

Experiencing very frequent (every 5-10 minutes of normal drive), almost total drainage of battery (1-2 bar left), to charging up the battery (full bars), within 2-3 minutes of normal drive (not downhill). The battery bars are very unstable, can be full bars, then within 10 seconds drop to 2 bar, also from 2 bars, can be charged straight to full within a few minutes, it wouldn't gradually increase/decrease bar after bar, like it used to be.

When battery is below half, the car totally lack of power. Sluggish drive.

Sent it to SC to check it out, they "formatted" and "reinstalled" new/updated OS in it.
Seems to be ok after that. Don't know bout later.. will update

Its the gap between bonnet and plastic garnish at wiper area. The rubber seal is too deep and the gap is just nice to whistle around 80-100km/h.
I solved it. I will share the picture.

This morning while I was stucked in the jam on a small hill (the tropicana road cutting out to BU and Kayu Ara, if some of you guys may know where it is), it went auto stop at the uphill (which is normal).  Yet, when I switched from pressing the brake and immediately to throttle with gear D, my car gone backwards!!  Twice!  Twice it happened when I was trying to move forward, and I had to switch the gear to S to move forward.  The kelisa behind was honking me like hell (as if she was shouting out loud:" Oy! are you sleeping?").  Oh, I felt so embarrased!  I thought our car has this creep and hill assist?    Somemore, mine is a FL!

Help! Do you guys have this problem?

Yup, my wife's insight is also experiencing this problem and the SC that i went had checked but unable to resolve. 

Perhaps, can update if it has improved or back to normal after the  "formatted" and "reinstalled" the new/updated OS?

If it does, please advise which SC and whom that assist you in this.

How la, the car only a year old ......

So far, after reinstalling the IMA system, all seem to go back to normal. No problems of battery getting drained quickly or sort. Pickup/power back to normal.
Satisfied so far. 
Crossing fingers.
My ride is also just reached 1 year, and only done 10K Mileage.
I did my reinstalling at MH Prestige, Kepong Area. You can find the Service Manager, he'll know what to do now.. after using mine as white mice.

are u sure? i though FL version comes with High Hill Assist? i can't believe it

Hi sorry I have a question to ask:

Anyone knows why was a Civic Hybrid discontinued? I'm interested in a Honda hybrid car and have way to find a new Civic Hybrid. I think Civic Hybrid is better because it is more spacious in my opinion, but think there is a certain reason Civic is discontinued. Anyone knows why it has phased out and made way for Insights? Purely price concern or technology involved?
