Its the gap between bonnet and plastic garnish at wiper area. The rubber seal is too deep and the gap is just nice to whistle around 80-100km/h.
I solved it. I will share the picture.

Experiencing very frequent (every 5-10 minutes of normal drive), almost total drainage of battery (1-2 bar left), to charging up the battery (full bars), within 2-3 minutes of normal drive (not downhill). The battery bars are very unstable, can be full bars, then within 10 seconds drop to 2 bar, also from 2 bars, can be charged straight to full within a few minutes, it wouldn't gradually increase/decrease bar after bar, like it used to be.

When battery is below half, the car totally lack of power. Sluggish drive.

Sent it to SC to check it out, they "formatted" and "reinstalled" new/updated OS in it.
Seems to be ok after that. Don't know bout later.. will update biggrin.gif

Yup, my wife's insight is also experiencing this problem and the SC that i went had checked but unable to resolve. icon_question.gif

Perhaps, can update if it has improved or back to normal after the "formatted" and "reinstalled" the new/updated OS?

If it does, please advise which SC and whom that assist you in this.

How la, the car only a year old ......

P/s: if anybody ever wonder why i never had Smart Tag before becoz i rarely use highway, onley use TnG only.

This morning while I was stucked in the jam on a small hill (the tropicana road cutting out to BU and Kayu Ara, if some of you guys may know where it is), it went auto stop at the uphill (which is normal).  Yet, when I switched from pressing the brake and immediately to throttle with gear D, my car gone backwards!!  Twice!  Twice it happened when I was trying to move forward, and I had to switch the gear to S to move forward.  The kelisa behind was honking me like hell (as if she was shouting out loud:" Oy! are you sleeping?").  Oh, I felt so embarrased!  I thought our car has this creep and hill assist?  doh.gif  Somemore, mine is a FL! rclxub.gif

Help! Do you guys have this problem? shakehead.gif

So far, after reinstalling the IMA system, all seem to go back to normal. No problems of battery getting drained quickly or sort. Pickup/power back to normal.
Satisfied so far.
Crossing fingers.
My ride is also just reached 1 year, and only done 10K Mileage.
I did my reinstalling at MH Prestige, Kepong Area. You can find the Service Manager, he'll know what to do now.. after using mine as white mice. tongue.gif

Agreed.

Guys, those with similar problems, no harm trying to update or reinstall the IMA system.

I did mine at Actmar Klang.

Before: hardly get >19.5km/l
Now: Easily get >20.5/l

I'm on my 2nd tank of RM50 fuel now. An improvement of ~1-2km/l means a lot to me.

Hi sorry I have a question to ask:

Anyone knows why was a Civic Hybrid discontinued? I'm interested in a Honda hybrid car and have way to find a new Civic Hybrid. I think Civic Hybrid is better because it is more spacious in my opinion, but think there is a certain reason Civic is discontinued. Anyone knows why it has phased out and made way for Insights? Purely price concern or technology involved?

if the car comes with Hill Assist, the car won't backward even if the gear was retain in N gear.

Not hill assist fault, Insight comes with Creep Aid System for Autostop. If the engine is running in D, the hill assist should work normally (there is a limit for the hill assist system as well if the slope is too steep, not just Honda cars, mind you). you need creep aid system to prevent the car from rolling on a hill when the driver transitions from the brake pedal (while on autostop) to the throttle pedal (engine starts)

QUOTE
The Creep Aid System (CAS) prevents the vehicle from rolling forward or backward on a hill during which the driver releases the brake pedal by controlling brake pressure.

When the ABS modulator control unit receives a CAS activation request signal from the PCM, the system assists the driver to get the vehicle started by holding the brake pressure. This control is done not only on hills, but also on level roads. When the driver lifts his foot off the brake pedal to get the vehicle started, the brake switch is turned off, and the brake pressure is held by operating the TCS valve and the CAS valve.

It works well on most slope, just make sure you give it enough brake pressure when stopping (Autostop). Another way to make sure your car won't slide backwards is to force start your engine prior to taking off your legs off the brakes by using the methods I mentioned a page or 2 back.

it works for me almost everytime. Most of the users here who complain about this, were those who are not familiar with the system or they are new with the car. You will get used to it in no time, once you know the method.

I am satisfied with the Creep Assist. Been driving the car for a year..so fast. Next week sending in for 20,000km service.

Overall I'd rate it 8.5/10. I don't quite like the stock Bridgestone tires, too bumpy/hard. On uneven road can really send vibrations into the car. Sound proof a bit poor though.

Everything else is just ...lovely. Nice handling and responsive chassis. Sporty 16" rim. HID friendly lights. Futuristic dashboard, it just feels good after getting into the car, I'll spend some time enjoy the dashboard, aircon and speedo, never got bored with the view. Good FC, 90 City 10 Highway driving, average 500km per tank. I am satisfied.

Gee! thanks for the advise (and white mice tongue.gif) and i shall call the SC for the update arrangement. The car used to give > 500km for abt 33I but has been hovering 440 - 480km lately, with no change of driving style.

It is 1 year old car and 10km now.
