Looks like I'm gonna get a new IMA battery soon, just after 13K mileage (13 month car).
Problem came back even after the software update I posted earlier. Went back to SC and they recorded data from my ride, but was told they can't replace the battery without a IMA warning code on screen.
So what they did, is software updated again, and told me to inform them next time it happens and they'll get Honda Malaysia technician to see it for themselves, then only they can change the IMA battery without the warning sign.
Just 2 days after the update, the problem came back. So gonna make appointment with them again and hope they'll replace it. As mileage sux for me now, @ 12-13km/l average. Keep using petrol to charge the damn battery.
Did some googling, and saw lots of similar cases on the civic hybrid.
Most of them solved it with it being replaced, others solved with 12v batt being replaced.

yup, mine has the same exact sound.Some managed to get rid by adding more foam under the bonnet while some went to re-seal the windscreen.

Mine is 2012 FL.The sound usually came at 130km/h.
A day after re-sealing i drove up to 160km/h on East Coast highway, no more sound.

Yup happened to most 2012 models.
Why dont you try adding the foam under the bonnet first just like Watonk did.

Bro, i am having same problem also... mine just clocked 1600km... problem is noticeable after 1st service... car is jerking a bit, especially when slowing down at the speed below 30km/h

the jerking is noticeable only at low speeds. At speeds > 50kmh when the car is running purely on the IMA pressing the accelerator for the petrol engine to kick in would not produce this hard jerk. It's only when running at speeds < 50kmh that this problem comes up.or when the rpm is rightfully between 1K-1.5K.
Wondering if it'sa software glitch on when the petrol engine kicks in, i.e. out of sync which produces the jerk at low speeds

was thinking to get this car but the same problems are still persisting in 2012 version?

total damage is about RM930...

CVTF - 2 bottle (cos they flush the CVTF), actual use is only 1 and 1/2 bottle... so remember to take back the half bottle. Damage around RM200 plus

Petrol Filter - RM301 and some strainer... damage around RM330 (they will remove your back seat, then u will see the RON95 in your fuel tank...

fuel filter, semi syn oil, brake fluid and some labour charges on checking this and that...

oh yea... according to my SC, they allow u to change the petrol filter on 45k service as well.

total service hour around 4 hours
