QUOTE(hapa @ Jan 22 2012, 12:35 PM) hi, newbie here. im thinking to root my nexus and flash franco kernel. I would recommend enjoying the stock ICS first but me also root & flashed mine the same night I bought the phone lulz coz can't tahan. currently on stock 4.0.1 rom, possible to flash to franco kernel? as it stated is 4.0.3. beside that, since is a new phone and nth much inside. is it recommend to backup oso? nandroid. thx I did the nandroid backup even for stock rom, just in case. It won't take long anyway. I'm not sure if we can simply flash franco kernel on top of stock's. I think you need a custom rom with 4.0.3 first |

It’s incredibly simple and convenient to use — there’s no menu to open, application to launch, or pairing needed. Just touch one Android-powered phone to another, then tap to send. For sharing apps, Android Beam pushes a link to the app's details page in Android Market. On the other device, the Market app launches and loads the details page, for easy downloading of the app. Individual apps can build on Android Beam to add other types of interactions, such as passing game scores, initiating a multiplayer game or chat, and more. not much details on the file types support, anyone know what format of music & video can support on NFC? |

Quite a number of next coming ICS phones, mostly still have physical buttons. maybe other oem still want to fully utilize the screen. both have good and bad. and NFC seem like not an optional for high end phone any more, become popular. |
