Nobody wants the car la, it's not the prettiest of car anymore. Plus since Saga SV came out, Savvy price dropped even further. I don't think I have other choice then to sell it to dealer cz i need the money quick.

my savvy 1st gear manual hard to shift in , is it clutch need change soon?

Manual ar? Clutch pedal press to the bottom liao also very hard to shift in, need to release repress kaw kaw baru can shift in ka?



As usual Shawie manual, clutch cover weak liao lo, the clutch disc not follow retracted from flywheel, hence very hard to shift in lo. Time to get it change lar

hi everyone, its time for my savvy to change gear oil. may i know what brand of gear oil & possibly price for it?4litre right. apart from proton sc & elf.
anyone here ever been using fully synthetic engine oil before?care to share experience?

Clutch cover. But from what I sourced, sparepart shop does not sell the cover alone, so you may consider to change the whole set of clutch. Be ready to cost a bomb. Gear oil stick to Renault ELF. Whatever rubbish people advertise, don't givafuk. Engine oil lain cerita. Sendiri decide depends on your butt dyno. Ayam on OSK mineral 10w30

better to spend abit more on genuine elf gearbox oil cos u know la, renault mah.... haha. if got problem then susah oh.... go buy from Proton SC then can be sure it's ori.

never found any sc in my place here selling elf. usually they just using the gear oil they put in a tong. plus their service charge is off the roof.
savvy is not proton sc friendly
i just use castrol gear oil then, tq

After being Shawie owner for almost a year, I met few more friends out of LYN that owned a Shawie without much headache. They:

1) Stick to ELF gear oil(to what they belongs to, AMT or MT)
2) Never service in Plotong, only bawah pokok, renotek, rs auto
3) Drive sensually, enjoy the rides and handling instead of whack konar like no tomolo
4) Wash car
5) No eating inside the car

Oh well, the least I met 1 devastated AMT owner wanted to chopped off his car and sell spare part coz he can't afford to repair anymore. I got a surprise knowledge from him, that he has been servicing with renotek long without problem. Until 1 time he was outstation and thought of sending the car back to...(the principle service centre). Believe it or not, they plonk normal Automatic Transmission Fluid into his AMT. From that day onwards, all sort of plobrem start building up surrounding his AMT. Fixing 1 after another parts and it keep coming back to haunt him until he got fedup.

So, seriously it's your choice on what kinda fluid you wanna feed your baby. After heard those comment from that owner, I've immediately drove my love to magician, get the gear oil flushed out! God knows WTF is inside from the previous owner

Engine oil though, I use rubbish only

if can prove that the proton service center give him standard atf, can sue proton who kills the car.

same case as honda's cvt gearbox. honda end up recalling

p/s: even if you plonk normal ATF into AMT, the bugger won't dai on the spot! Probably few weeks later

no headache,luv my kekura hijau,mileage done at 163k km

yeah, drive my savvy average 140kmh, taking corner fast,drive wo no tomorrow,play with water every week,service every 7k km n I'm say NO to proton service center

last time i go mayb 2007 kot,I'm using shell semi synthetic just now change to castrol, for GB oil, i think Pennzoil myb but its fully synthetic,confirmed

hello all sifus out there,

need your urgent advice about my savvy AMT problem. i found that when i climbing the hill with really high slop or climbing to the roof parking of certain building (#shopping complex) during traffic jam (i mean crawling the hill really slow), there is beeping sound with gearbox indicator lamp is ON....then i can smell like a burnt...so anybody can confirm what's going on? i'm driving savvy AMT 2009

Probably your clutch plate is out. Its time to change full set clutch kit. Please expected around plus minus RM600 damage in your pocket.
