after rooting the phone,is it still possible to upgrade the firmware using KIES?
please advise...Thanks..

Why still wanna use KIES? U can just upgrade using ODIN..
btw, depend on the kies if it can detect your firmware correctly and suggest an upgrade, correct if I'm wrong.

Wow ur litening version so old shocking.gif anyways, suggest u flash checkrom instead, litening development seems to be dead already. Checkrom's a really good custom rom, one of my favourites. B4 i flashed ICS, i was using checkrom biggrin.gif

Hey, err....
I am really confused now..

Does it makes any difference if I used Odin 1.83 as compared to 1.85?

I want to flash the Clockworkmod now, but I have Odin 1.83, is it okay??
Or must I download the latest version??

Thanks..

Any fast rom apart from Lite'ning?
I love Lite'ning bcoz it DOES NOT wipe clean phone, simple and fast.

I very scared other roms that WIPE phone.

If u dont want to wipe phone, then just go for litening 6.1, which is extremely outdated compared to other custom roms.
