QUOTE(Harddisk @ Jan 17 2012, 10:36 AM) Firstly, Viber not working for me. ICS is still experimental on SGS2. As mentioned by anttoo before, CM9 is just for testing purpose right now. If you can compile all bug that you've encountered to CM team, they can improve it a bit better.Social Hub is... buggy. I can't seem to login to it at all. The fading transition on Talk was annoying (not screen fade, more like when suggested words bar appear and disappear from keyboard, the whole screen moves along, in fade transition instead of immediate. You'll get what I mean when you use Talk + Swype). Account & Sync list lag badly when I have many items there, which I don't understand why. Don't think I ever notice that on GB 2.3.5 the last time I had it on i9100. When the phone's screen is off, but before it's locked. I press on Home button to bring up the screen, it displays the task list. I believe it's the lag that causes the Home button to registered as "long press" (call up recent task). Or maybe I was using the Season Zen HD live wallpaper which causes the phone to lag? Standby with wifi connected, BT on, GPS on, battery dropped from 100% full charged (with phone off) to 88% in merely 2 hours+. Setting Wallpaper (2 options of wallpaper, I dunno why? TW screwed up?) would FC (Get this message: Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped. with OK button) at the wallpaper type selection screen. 2 cases of sudden power off (without shutdown screen/animation). I think the list would go on if I dig further. to experience the ICS right now, revert to Galaxy Nexus!! i've heard the phone got a cool video call!! |

QUOTE(samurai1337 @ Jan 17 2012, 01:51 PM) Now that I'm back to stock, I'm looking forward for official ICS yeah, europe and Asia phone system is nearly the same. at least we are not going to be one of the last one to receive the update, compared to US phone.Hopefully it's a worldwide update, rather than Europe getting it in day 1 and Malaysia getting it 3 months later |

QUOTE(soulseeker6187 @ Jan 17 2012, 01:57 PM) US phone use different system, CDMA. if i'm not mistaken, this system can transfer data better than GSM.but its only applicable in US. if you travel oversea, not many country support CDMA for US phone. |

QUOTE(iori57 @ Jan 17 2012, 02:32 PM) same as when we bought the phone. we use the stock rom for the first 1 week right?and then we root and load custom rom. some times the stock rom itself got good options compared to the custom rom. any way, it up to you to decide which one to use |
