Not sure if others face this problem, but sometime my s2 will have "Mobile network not available" problem. Full bar, data not connected, but then when try to make call, it will show the mention error.

I9100, on CheckROM v4, siyah kernel. Imei still intact for sure.

urgh...mobile network not available error happen again to me....

Gonna try re-flash checkROM, see if can resolve the "Mobile network not available" issue..happen quite frequent today..

Why still wanna use KIES? U can just upgrade using ODIN..
btw, depend on the kies if it can detect your firmware correctly and suggest an upgrade, correct if I'm wrong.

Just flash the checkrom via cwm..

Better wipe cache and dalvik to avoid problem..
my case, before this using miui which does have service not available bug, then I flash checkrom and probably before flash I did not wipe clean, my phone having problem with "mobile network not available" which happen frequently. So last night decide to re-flash back with proper procedure, and so far not yet encounter the issue..still monitoring..

Still got SamsungApps in my drawer..

some app only..you can just uninstall it using tb later

After 2 days of flash re-flash CheckROM, I'm still facing the same problem with Mobile Network not Available issue. Is it because due to my Voltage Control setting (iso+ondemand)? Now already revert the VC setting, and still monitoring....huhu

Use DXKL1 before this, same..that why then decide to reflash coz thinking might be because of bad flash.. now no idea what is the main issue..

Right now trying to filter out one by one..now disable VC see if it ok..

Seems like I need to send back my phone to Samsung for warranty as consistently facing problem with "Mobile Network not Available" @ "Emergency Call only" despite flash, re-flash rom.

Not yet try flashing official ROM.. hmm...

Yeah..will flash stock rom tonight...see if this will resolve the issue.

Back on stock ROM... coz need to test and confirm if my phone do have problem with mobile network..

After flash, re-flash, restore official rom, found out that my sim is the real cause for the frequent mobile network not available error.. Damn wasting so many time trying to figure out what is the problem...

The SIM totally un-usable even after rub. Need to change tomorrow at celcom center. Luckily happen today, so still can change it tomorrow.

Haha...just go and change at celcom center tomorrow.. better get new sim, coz before this frequently got problem with Mobile Network not Available. Full bar, but cannot make call..

- Delay upgrade from v4 to v5 as no jkay support and some still facing battery draining issue with pre-release v5. Waiting for official instead

Some user only. Most said no issue with the battery..
v4 so far still stable enough for me, no need to upgrade for now.

by the way, now using SpeedMod K2-19, and for overnight idle with data on, and some auto sync, my battery just gone 4% only in 10 hours. Not bad

on 3G..wifi off.
