For your case.

I assume you enter CWM and select the file you want to install right. Did you do a full wipe, cache wipe and dalvik wipe? If not, sometime changing from rom A to B might cause this bootloop. Try off the phone, wipe all and reflash.

Do you UnderVolt or OverClock? It could be some app running background causing this. Do you have ahem apps?

For moving files, you need to be rooted. I mean you need to root your phone first before you can move your apps files etc.

*edit* Reading all the posts etc, I was sooooo down to hear that Samsung might just release ICS like 3rd quarter or so which means, CheckROM v5 will only be 'officially' be ready with those launchers and modded stuff in March - April? >.<

Sooooo determined to go back to V4 but V5 is seriously smooth!

Guys, need help..
Just finish changing to NEAK kernel..
on CheckROM4 + KL1 modem

After restart, my music shows no song..
But the files are there..

Google doesnt help much..

Maybe you need admin privilege to access your sd card? Mine no problem copy to/from sd card. Using win xp pro here

I did use cm9 b4, after about 15-30 min of web browsing, device runs super hot, especially at the camera. Also, battery is really crappy, 2 hours screen on time then battery totally flat doh.gif

I suggest that if u want an ICS rom, go for Samsung based ICS ones, like andyx. Samsung ones run better based on my personal experience

Have u installed kies drivers? Also, make sure any kies related processes not running while rooting. BTW, where did u get that black android fusion? I googled it and couldn't find the xda page for it

I'm on stock ICS XXLP2 rom and CF rooted. About a week with this rom already. I don't tweak anything and no ahem apps.. tongue.gif

How do we get the admin privilage. You mean the admin right for the pc? My pc also win xp..
