yeah, europe and Asia phone system is nearly the same. at least we are not going to be one of the last one to receive the update, compared to US phone.

But remember we stuck in KI2 (2.3.3) for quite a long time?

Phone shut off suddenly again. This time was using USB for tethering to internet. No warning of low batt or whatsoever.

I think I better flash it back to GB and use. If still the same, will consider sending back to DirectD for battery warranty before warranty runs out.

EDIT: I also noticed 1 thing, the H+ never appears on this ROM. ICS problem or Sammy's problem?  hmm.gif

You used what telco first?

Because:
- Some people are lazy
- Some people are not tech savvy
- There are also a lot of fakap developers in XDA tongue.gif

Jus like when u buy a new car. Some may want to mod the car & some like stock standard to maintain warranty. Some like to root their devices & some prefer stock reason being only 'for day to day use". Custom roms
are usually not stable, buggy & laggy. Official versions are always stable and that why worth the wait.Jus my 2 sen..

same as when we bought the phone. we use the stock rom for the first 1 week right?and then we root and load custom rom. some times the stock rom itself got good options compared to the custom rom.

any way, it up to you to decide which one to use

That's not always true though, last time when I used stock rom I had FC more than now. Once custom rom reach a state of maturity they are more stable and have better performance and battery life. Some developers such as pikachu does a better job than Samsung developers.

If I can mod my car for free and DIY (no need bring to workshop) and it will become Lambogini car, I will gladly give up the warranty smile.gif But ya that's people's choice I get it..

That is not always true. Look at G version official rom. doh.gif doh.gif

And custom roms are not laggy nor unstable. Bugs maybe but also seldom.

My G version freezes about once a day on average doh.gif Sometimes a few times a day doh.gif

Other issues are like app crashes and the occasional camera failures

Its mostly the first one.
You dun have to be tech savvy to flash custom rom, just need to know how to read and follow instructions.
If users of XDA can read and follow insruction, the developers will not be so fakap. tongue.gif
