Are the new installations coming with Cisco or Huawei routers by default? And is there any default SSID that is setup for you out of the box? Just noticed a new Huawei AP from my place and TdC is one of the few that are still using Huawei routers (last I remember). Possibly available in my place now? smile.gif

Hi Bro,

By default, TIME is using Huawei Optical Network Unit (ONU) or aka Fibre Modem.

The 300Mbps Wireless-N router is from Cisco, currently using E1200 model.

If you would like to know how to configure the Huawei ONU, feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

Hi, very interested in upgrading from current Unifi 5mbps to TIME

My primary concern is the ping (for playing online games), is the ping as low as Unifi?

Anyone on TIME tried Dota 2 and is it as smooth as Unifi (on Asia server)?

Thanks!

Hi Bro smile.gif

May I know what is your building name ?

If you switch from Unifi to TIME, TIME will rebate back RM500 for you in your monthly bill to compensate for the penalty you paid to TM. (Easy Switch)

TIME usually have very low pings..

it was my concern too before applying Astro Beyond IPTV package. However the good thing is the latency is low due to fiber connection. Especially to SG servers, the ping are low.

Sign up with yeapch01. Good customer service and follow up. They came to install yesterday. The wiring job is perfectly done, hardly can see the cable if you never go to look for it. They glued it very nicely.

All up and now I can enjoy the high speed download and no buffering on youtube anymore! smile.gif

Hi Bro,
interested to switch to TIME. is this rebate offer applicable to streamxy user?

streamyx early termination charges

I'm still in 1 year contract for BB deal package, should be under Streamyx standard package categories penalty.

Hi bro

The Penalty of early termination BB contract from Streamyx is not Covered by Time.

The Penalty of switch over is only cover for current Unifi user.

Thanks for your enquiry.
