No activity for a while now. I should have get crawler because there is no appropriate track for fast R/C near me also no body into R/C cars in my area.

Wow! how did you manage to hang your rc car/trucks like that?.
Don't wait for groups to join your area, you can start playing solo out there and the crowds will come.

Oh no, your trucks covered with spider webs! That's a huge problem, you need to go out and fly your truck outside.

Thanks, These days R/C became so affordable, lots of cheap technology and alternative to custom build your own parts. Also easy to get sponsorship for our hobby from different manufacturer since they are also supportive....free R/C stuff!! We live in era of awesomeness.

Clone alert...have a look at these tongsan brand HB-toys RacingRally RC 1:10 pickup (model HB-ZP1003) while browsing alibaba... looks like a cheap clone of GMade Komodo GM54000 issit? Not sure the 4WD mechanical setup beneath it hence the cheap price perhaps lolz...
too good to be true but if tongsan can sell it 1/4 cheaper clone price, issit good for beginner for this crap? Just for learning lolz...

Since weight & space are less of an issue in RC cars compared to drones & aircraft, why not have a stand-alone circuit for the FPV system fed off a small lipo independent of the main batt?

Zero video noise from the motor for sure!

Curious to see what kind of range you can get on the ground with all the ground clutter.

Guys I'm kinda curious to get into the RC crawler scene.

What car would you recommend with a budget of around RM1K..?

My requirements:

1) 1/10 scale
2) Can use my existing stash of 2200mah 3S lipos
3) No plasticky drivetrain that will strip after a few months.
4) Preferably brushless set-up
5) RX can be swapped out in the future.
