your write 4k still can go higher by installing mobo chipset & RST driver.

Crucial m4 is a 9.5mm, can't be modify to use on 7mm right? unlike Intel with 2.5mm shim right?

Actually there are two types. the thin 7mm just launched recently: http://www.guru3d.com/news/crucial-ships-7mm-thin-m4-ssd/

CT128M4SSD2BAA - 9.5mm: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820148525
CT128M4SSD1 - 7mm: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820148529

Intel's retail SSD has a removable 2.5mm spacer so that u can make it 7mm (spacer detached) or 9.5mm (spacer attached)

I'm surprised that OCZ would choose to replace their flagship SF-based product with an unproven Indilinx controller. I would have thought they'd replaced the Agility controller with their own. Or maybe perhaps OCZ will create a new branding line for premium SF-based SSDs?

OCZ bought over Inidilix, of course want to promote own product as Flagship lah. Takkan want treat it as a stepchild?
And if you do recall, I'm sure you do, Indilix was once the King before SF came out.

Install cpu z and check your laptop mobo brand. But honestly we feel faster with ssd in laptop because hdd in laptop is 5400rpm only, so slow tongue.gif .

Even with 10,000 RPM HDDs, you will still feel the difference.

Here is a performance comparison video from three years ago.

And SSDs have improved tremendously since then, while HDDs look stagnant except for increased capacity.
