Thanks markiliz. So I can connect my ATV tonight and try to play around with it first. Experimenting airplay, YouTube as such...
Then I will have to sign up and pay for Netflix or hulu+ ....or whatever. After that I can change the program settings to watch the US versions. Am I right?

change it now to US...other functions will not be affected...you don't even have netflix if you don't change it to US

Hi guys I just got back an rma Apple TV from the sc. Booted it up and signed in my Apple ID.. But my purchased music isn't showing. Any idea how to sync it? My purchased movies are appearing

But when I boot up indeed I am in apple us. But my Apple ID is signed out. Do I have to reassign my Apple ID to us to use? |

i think you can just sign in back with your apple id...
or else, need to register a new apple id using US store...
i'm still using older apple tv OS, so probably that's why i'm not logged out by default when changing the country

Guys, i had problem playing movie from ipad pps and mirror to apple tv 3rd gen. error message says:-
'Error playing video content. Try again later'
Anyone have solution?

Is iTunes account the same as your Apple ID?
And Apple ID does not have your country of origin associated with it, right?

N it is a consisted with the origin of your country. If u register in Malaysia iTunes, then u can't view anything from us iTunes. |
