Hi guys. I've been reading the forums and decided to begin some workouts. I was hoping you guys can help me out on something.
I did some deadlifting (6 times of 5 reps x 40kg, around 2 mins rests in between) and was having some sores on my lower back. Before this there was no problem when i was doing it with 20kg.
So I think perhaps there's something wrong with my form. I've gone through the stickies, mark rippetoe videos etc but there might be mistakes that I didn't notice with my form. Do you guys mind correcting me?
Below is the link:

Thank you in advance!
the basic points are good. you're keeping your back straight, bar travels near to your center of gravity. some that i could catch on
- like what the others said, arch your back, keep your chest out. google hip hinge.
- you seem to lose your tightness on top of the lift. dont shrug your shoulders
- hip position seems to be a bit high, consequently your strength at the bottom of the lift comes from your hips and upper back, which might be the cause to your lower back pain. i might be wrong though. lower your hips, and drive up the weight with your leg power.
- no hip drive. like aztec said, hump the bar lol.
im no expert as well, so please take these with a grain of salt. god knows my deadlift from sucks from the ninth level of hell, lol.
