wah old skool casing in action, it has been a while not seeing these kind of case........ sniper69, very nice indeed........
HR-01 so tall meh ?? blocking the side panel ??
Doom, u ask him to replace the hdd ? hehe i think he kept a lot of goodies in side like sniper on the roof (the founder of this clan?), hard to replace.........
btw just asking, let say u want to light up the 3870, what is best way of doing it ?? attaching LED, put a ccfl behind ? any idea........
after see sniper69 3870 light up by (mobo led izzit ?),  hands itchy to get mine light up as well, i notice that the card cooler has much empty space within
*
the case's width ±18cm, while the HR-01 itself already 15cm from base to the edge of the heatsink/heatpipe...

about the LED, yes sir, that's motherboard LED...

eh, don't know about you guys, but it appears that HD3870 stock cooler is UV reactive thumbup.gif (just found out earlier this morning...)

That's something that can't be denied ... I had the same case as well ..

It was my very first Aluminum case and it's in my friend usage now ..

running as download station brows.gif

I still think it's by far a better quality case compared to most Lian Li cases ..

Just lost a bit in term of internal design and modding ability .. .

But hey u proof there's light of future for this case with that BTX mod ..

u make me wanted so much to molest your case and get those wires sort out .. hahha .. hands getting itchy ...

Anyway those Pata HDDs cannot scrapped for SATA drive ????

It would looks much more better with an array of sata drives .

If i am not mistaken, this case is made of 2mm thick aluminum, very solid and worth every penny. Too bad these cases are out of production. I believe the latest Praetorian uses the same chassis, but the design is much worse than its predecessor IMO.

@LExus65
I think LED lights up better .. it would best to use it with acrylic pieces to form glowing effects..

@sniper69
Much better dude ... gj

@hypermax
yah it's made of really thick aluminum ... the only down apart from its cooling effectiveness .. it would be the sharp edges in certain area,,

I can't remember how many times I got cut when doing cable management on it ... probably that's one of the reason I let it go and grab Lian Li ..

Besides Lian Li is much lighter .. good for old men like me that have back problem ... brows.gif

Hey bro, are you referring to the exterior design? How's its built quality? Is it worth to get the Praetorian 732 now or is it better off getting another casing? Thanks bro. smile.gif

I am referring to the chassis as a whole. Praetorian 723 is using the same chassis if i am not mistaken, therefore the chassis is built of solid aluminum. However, the design sucks big time (front panel).
