QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Nov 25 2005, 02:19 PM) Lian Li pwns joo alll Cutting a straight line on a solid piece of acrylic's gonna be pretty difficult. But how about using 3 piece of acrylic with the middle piece being a thin strip? Thought about this before when I was toying with heavy sinks. Some acrylic shops over here does sell those strips but just never gotten off my lazy ass to do it only. I just thought of a really easy way to do this with aluminum. Check out the Graphics card n CPU cooling thread. I'll post my pics n idea there. Here a bit OT lar seeing as it's a CM League.

QUOTE(moderno @ Dec 30 2005, 04:16 PM) yupz...it's asetek waterchill...getting from mr.irenic back then hahaha...the tubing u've to ask irenic how it became lidat...the water still green, just the inner side of the tubing got that white marks there...uuww geli.... heard from irenic it's bcoz of some coolant for motorbikes he used before... that day tried oledi aftermarket tubes from ace hardware...but quite easy to have a leak at those connectors compare to the original one supplied by asetek...that's why still using the alienated tubes there...hehe jahat aa irenic jual tubing dah deterioted will ask him for full refund later...makes me feel shame about those tubes...hahahahaha Haiyaaaa. Ure Asetek using quikfit connectors that's y. U must use exact size tubing. Meaning if stock is 3/8"ID n 1/2"OD then u must buy back exactly same or else the quikfit connectors there will leak. Anyway to make ure overall case look better, kasi cuci itu tubing lar. The pet shop in Ikano ada jual tube cleaner brush for aquarium tubes. It's a mini brush with a string tied to it. Just let the string drop tru the tubes n then pull the string tru to brush the tubes. Then oni ure C5 can look hangsum mar.

QUOTE(floppy @ Feb 26 2006, 03:45 AM) slightly different bro, the praetorian is 2mm thick alu compared to the 1.5mm thick of this one, and thus making the prae 2KG heavier. ikan, not for sale already... Eh? Like that better man. 2mm stronger can haf nicer cuts when modding n cutting the panels. 1 thing I noticed is that the ATCS looks the same as Praetorian but it's taller. BTW, if u fellas really interested, Sri Comp got 1 silver ATCS case left. Very nice. It's the ATCS that looks like the Praetorian. Quick quick grab it b4 habis. BUT the price........

QUOTE(floppy @ Feb 27 2006, 11:49 PM) 201s are exactly the same as praetys bro, interiors are the same up to the 730/1/2 except for the dual 80mm fans exhaust. Unless you're talking about the 100/110/210/400 series... Dunno lar. The silver 1 in Sri Comp looks just like the Praety but it's taller. Price oso taller. IIRC it was bout 800.

Dude, those blue rubber tube thingys u put at the end of the sleeves r called shrink tubes. Ure supposed to heat them up to make them shrink tightly around the sleeves. Ure using them the wrong way.

Haiyooooooo. It's got nothing to do with the PSU. Doesn't matter how many wires the the PSU got it's hidden in the same place. It's all about the wires going to the mobo.

QUOTE(r4ydc24 @ Aug 19 2006, 11:01 PM) any idea where can i find POWWAH-ful UV reactive fans??? or mebbe i shld do the fan sprayings??? ngaaaaa~ Hehehe. That is the million $ question. I myself hunted high n low for a nice powerful UV fan with at least 60CFM. I finally found it at the PC Fair. It's from Vertex. A new brand called VIZO Starlet. 120mm UV fan with 63CFM. Perfect for use on the XP120 of mine. Will b good for ure SI120 as well. BUT I just went to LYP yesterday n until now that brand is still not on sale yet.

QUOTE(Traveler @ Nov 11 2006, 10:00 AM) Yeah, would be interested to hear too. Am planning to build my high-end gaming rig with the Stacker 831 (black, and possibly do some modding, maybe WC too), and would like to hear of experiences. Was concerned about the size of the 8800GTX cards, fitting into the 831/830 which I heard is not that roomy on the inside. But then again, the casing has just been certified by Nvidia as 8800GTX SLI ready, I suppose it shouldn't be an issue. The Stacker is too small for a 8800GTX rig. Way too cramped inside. U better find ureself an EATX case that's meant for server mobos. Alternatively, get a full tower so u can leave the HDD slots in front of the gfx card empty. The Stacker is basically just a glorified normal size ATX case. It is no bigger than ATX case, just more bulky on the outside.
