It's not tough at all lah bro ...

I started to do mine even when I had not much of experience with all these wires and crimping stuffs ..

just google and read a bit more about it .. then walah ..

It's just a simple as putting a wire into the clip and crimp it with tool

some patient and lots of practice would get you a very good result ...

They don't know because they haven't seen enough of mod done by foreigner .. I got my skill by constantly checking out their mod ..

not just to drop my jaw but to absorb the technique and method used ..

if I had a budget and tools that they are owning now .. heheh

I would do something different ...

for the sake of one cable u guys wanna spend sop much money on a PSU???

y not just DIY an extention??? can go to jalan pasar and buy the parts needed to do it ma.

worst comes to worst.... cut the existing wires and solder on new wires to extend the cables... this should be alright if ur using chapalang PSUs or if ur warranty for the PSU is over
*
I agreed. Why should waste money to buy other PSU just bcoz one short wire.

Actually, I want to extend the wire myself but not enough tools. Here in my town it is really hard to find the tools, and if I find, really expensive. So, I come out with other solution, see the picture

Because the black yellow wire is an eye sore, I just covered them with a UV cable. But still, the large power cable is to big to hide.
See the power to the DVD-RW drive, that is my first attempt to do some wire modding.
If only have the correct tools, I can do much better work.

its aint hard ler to do the extension....u just need the parts and some cables and a plier and ur done. its just crimping only...soldering understandable la...

seriously...learn to DIY abit lor...total parts will cost u like RM20 inclusive of cables.

just making the extra effort would save people HUNDREDS of ringgit man.

Aiyooo.. modular? After a quick check found out this is not a cheap PSU. PSU above RM200 consider not cheap for me.

I just check out this topic The Complete PSU Sleeving Guide. Very nice one. Want to try if have time.

thats just a lame excuse to not do anything..............

everyone was once a noob...they stopped being a noob because they made an effort to try

noob is not an excuse.... people who uses noob as an excuse are actually just too lazy to get off their fat arses

The Upper CM690 can support 2 X 140mm. I installed cheap 2 X120 mm fan. Very noisy. But my casing is cooler now.

BTW I'm waiting for my next salary to do my own sleeving brows.gif . Just in case if something happen, have spare money to buy new PSU. Takut sweat.gif . First time. smile.gif
