QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jun 17 2007, 09:47 AM) what a really stupid method done only by pasting pics of the layout on the casing pics ![]() here's my two points for it 1st: ![]() see those rear i/o panel slot a high-end mobo, ASUS P32NE-SLI motherboard, which has a maximum measurement for an ATX Board (30.5cm x 24.5 cm)... why the hell there is still some space for the rear i/o panel ![]() 2nd: ![]() An ATX motherboard that has a measurement of (30.5cm x 24.5cm) will use the out-most screw holes |

example:
ASUS P5N32-E SLI [Link] ![]() measurement: 30.5cm x 24.5cm will use these screw holes ![]() Gigabyte GA-G33-DS3R [Link] ![]() measurement: 30.5cm x 21.0cm will use these screw holes ![]() Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 (rev. 1.0) [Link] ![]() measurement: 30.5cm x 19.0cm will use these screw holes ![]() see whatever your motherboard measurement is, all ATX or mATX mobo will use the up-most screw hole but not in the Maximum PC pics if the mobo pics are the same scale with the case pics (the screw holes on the mobo & the case are within the same position then only the copy pasting mobo pics on the case pics is relevant) like this: ![]() |

we should read all the posts cos some people have really installed the gc in the case. we shouldn't just read the first post cos it's not accurate.

Even if can fit in the card but the routing of the cable would be a headache of all time... since it's running dual PCI-E 6 pin connectors...
On safer side have to remove the HDD cage and move the Hdd to the optical drive area for more airflow from the front intake to the graphic card coz this babe is one of the hottest card in the list as well ... This post has been edited by Doom: Jun 17 2007, 12:19 PM |

It would be easier to change a casing to BTX style if it has removable motherboard and rear plate.

i think it possible for CM5.......since most of the things inside are identical (left and right), but u might need to drill out all the rivets and refit it.........
