Well, i7 is a double-edged sword yo~
The performance for rendering/ multitasking is phenomenal~
However, the heat and the energy consumption can be rather scary yo 
Better avoid if the laptop has a poor cooling system (iirc, the Inspiron 15r is not exactly very good at cooling)...

Mine reaches 100C (CPU) when on load yo, really scarry~
Had to turn off TurboBoost when running intense multitasking....

GPU remained cool at a max of around 73C when on load 

I'm sure the Dv6 will do better because of the larger dimensions and thus, probably better heat dissipation~

Well the beta is already out(Same goes to Dota 2) so people might already know the minimum/max requirement to run it.

  Here's a challenging one, guys.  What would fit these requirements? 

1. Preferred Brand: anything with good support & warranty, on-site service etc. SoHo use, cannot afford too much downtime.
2. Budget: 5k +/-
3. Usage: Photoshop, WinXP on a VM, ERP/CRM software.  DB9+RJ45+VGA out would be great (but can get dongles kua...)
4. Preferred size: no preference. The lighter the better, easier to travel.

is that possible for the seller to change my ram brands?
because one of my friend bought there n53sn with ram+4gb.. and after cpu-z it's given nanya/ and hyundai electronic ram ..
