Haha. i know. around 2.5k is still acceptable is it's reli gud. i dun mind about the design or watever, as long the performance and display is correct. bcz in photo editing and video, dat's wad important. or you know anything about premiere pro cs 4? is 7200 necessary? bcz from adobe website, they recommended using 7,200.. And I dislike Dell, cz i heard asus and toshiba is better. = = and i dunno why other ppl dislike dell and other brand. = =

Dell Vostros come with matte screen, and the color will not be as vibrant as you see in laptops with glossy screens...
I'm no pro in Adobe stuffs, but based on what I've read, RAM and CPU is more important..
As for 7,200rpm laptops, perhaps only this, but its running on AMD (heard that Nvidia works better):
14"
Asus A43Sa-VX083v, i5-2430M + AMD HD6730M@RM2499, 750GB (7200rpm)

Perhaps it'll be better if you upgrade the HDD yourself since most laptop (especially budget ones) come with 5400rpm HDD

Yup, it have to be anything other than AMD, NVDIA is the best from what i heard. so.. AMD is definitely out.

I think closest would be this one, but you'll have to look real hard for it..
15.6"
Asus N55Sf-S1515v [black], i5-2450M + Nvidia GT555m (2GB) + 1920x1080@2899[Bang & Olufsen]; 750GB (7200rpm), USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer *EOL-ed

Other laptops with good screens + fast HDD are more than RM3k unfortunately  sad.gif

Bang & Olufsen are premium speakers nod.gif
If omitting the 7,200rpm requirements, I guess this one would be a good pick:
It was on promotion earlier on, and I believe the pricings should still be the same  nod.gif
Toshiba Satellite P745-1011X, i5-2430M + Nvidia GT525M@RM2599[harman/kardon]

My frend recommended me this. A43SD-VX420V, wouldn't this one better? given that the GT is higher (GT610) but the price is so much lower, 2k, i wonder. why... *actually I prefer gud screen, but not reli fond towards the speaker (though it is kind of important) LOL.
