This is serious. Normally when you off Data it will automatically disable everything. I haven't encountered this problem before. Try calling your telco and check?

Hmm, calling the telco huh? I guess its worth a try, tho I'm expecting a 'Oh sir you used the data so its not our problem' response.

I got a white version for my gf last week. 910 with 2 years warranty from SME.

Now sent back to for warranty claim...after much thought. Overall is a good phone.

i thought my htc has poor battery life...but damn..this galaxy w is really worse than my htc...i only use it for sms after fully charge..n after around 6 hour..the battry indicate half only...

is it my phone got problm????

Mind telling me what telco plan are you using?

I totally disagree with you. I've posted a screenshot in the V2 thread that my battery lasted for 46 hours after 100+ sms, 30 minutes of call, 2 hours of gaming & 1 hour of browsing yet still had 12% remaining battery. I think the reason why your battery is draining very fast is because you're using data. I noticed when I use Data, the battery drains very fast too. In 4 hours 35% gone already. If you're not using Data, I suggest you be patient & use the phone. Normally it takes a certain duration for the battery to get used to your usage for it to last longer. cheers!

I'm guessing that's the RAM problem. I've encountered that problem during gaming too. A lot of people on this Galaxy W thread told me it's because RAM already maximum then the phone hang & no response. Try to clear your RAM then browse & see got the same problem or not. If got, I think you should check with Samsung.

everytime it freeze, hav to remove the battery n restart the phone, happens almost every 2 days.......n anoter thing i notice wif dis phone is when on dis phone continuously without switching off( never switch off at all)......it will freeze every 2 days..........for the past weeks i hav to remove the battery n reboot almost every 2 days.......is it the ram problem oso?

Just saw a case at Jusco Tebrau City (JB) for the W, RM58++ for a case, it costs twice as much as typical iPhone4 cases does.. Pfft

Guys, just to share my experience with SYGIC. I didnt know that GPS functions well, even I was in Flight-Mode. Meaning... the phone comes with GPS and not A-GPS?

I really f#$ked up my gf's phone when i updated her phones firmware from froyo to gingerbread 2.3.4, makes the phone ULTRA LAGS SUPER SNAIL SMALL.
SAMSUNG IS AN IDIOT for releasing this update for ace.

I cant sleep well now until arco68 release a stable version of the CM9 now after what i see it can do.

Mine also show got 100MB remaining, but will always hang. With browser I don't know, but with games if it freeze I'm sure it's because RAM overloaded.

JB pasar malam all sell iPhone4 and SGS2 cases... Galaxy W cases are VERY RARE
