Hello all,

The one I got have the phone call issue. Can't really hear what the other side is talking/saying. I noticed some of you have this problem too, any remedies to solve this?

I'm thinking to sent it back to dealer/Samsung for warranty purpose but what to hear the some opinions first.

Hmm, I thought my gf to turn off data packets, but apparently it still sucked away 15 ringgit of her credit. Any idea what went on? I don't want to have to go delete the APNs.

OMG..this really worries me...as im only use this phone for data plan only...

need to change SIM and use for calls n sms to test it...hope dont have the above problem...

No issues with my SGW.. But just been using for 2 days.. so cant say much really..

Performs just as good as my Wildfire... iPhone4? Don't even mention

Have you tried lowering the volume to the min level and max it back up during phone calls? It works for me.

Oh, I haven't try this. Might try later but still....this phone is my gf 1. Personally I think she cannot tahan with the troublesome...but for me, if I got backup phone, I might consider this.

Anyway, now I decided to pass back the phone to the seller for warranty claim.

Now some troublesome is to clear the contacts, pics, notes and gmail account. I notice we cant log off gmail account from the phone and the only way to make it secure it....to change gmail password.

Reason being is, a bit paranoid....when pass the phone for warranty, people might* login to the gmail account for...whatever reason.

Any better suggestion?

The trick is, lower down the volume and increase it back while you're making a call. Common problem here. Claim 100 times maybe you still get the very same problem.

if you have data plan, enable packet data. if you don't have data plan, change both apn to mms and enable packet data.

press power button like 5 seconds > menu will appear > choose data mode

your MMS will come in unless it has expired...

Added on December 25, 2011, 2:53 pm1. Phone charge till 99% only - the last few percent takes longer, it will charge up to 100% if you stop playing with it while its charging.

2. Phone calls cannot hear the other side - software bug - just decrease volume and increase it again while in call - but i dont have this bug on my W

3. Receive SMS vibrate non-stop - i have never encountered this, neither have some of my friends who are using W
