stagg dh not bad oso.played on them once,sounds really2 nice.esp the 18" china.a bang for your ringgit(buck) IMO.

Recording.. well depends lah. Of course it won't be as nice as if you used high end stuff... but can jalan lah I guess. :/ I've seen a local drummer on TV using ZHT, and personally I think ZHT is horrible, so MCS is better

Gretsch Catalina Maple 6 piece. got it from JSMusic. 30% discount - RM26xx good deal leh. They have another one 5 piece, but smaller kick drum.

Got it for house decoration..... no lah, for my upcoming recording/rehearsal studio.

oh, not kickass la, my studio cheap2 one. soundproof also cheap2 one. two cheap2 solid state amps, 1 small hartke amp. now just missing PA and cymbals. focus more on recording, mainly for metal bands. cannot make money lor, for passion.

Your gear list sounds interesting mate Working on a project now; if anything, I'll let you know! I LIKE YOUR SYNTHS.

Because it is easier to reach to the rack toms and you can position the rack toms to a more comfortable angle. I.e. rack toms mounted on a stand will let you put the rack toms wherever you want them to be, and IMO it also does clean up the looks of the kit.
