I see...so grateful I live in normal house laugh.gif

Yeah need to build special platform cuz of the bass drum hit the pad. Also try to have a discussion with your neighbors so you can come up with a schedule for your drumming.

Best of luck and happy drumming biggrin.gif

right now i've narrowed it down to pretty much TD11KV (TD15KV price a bit out of reach although I really like the larger pads) or XM 8SR. I find the XM module slightly more difficult to use than Roland's.

Haven't been able to test out any Yamaha ones yet... the sole Yamaha shop I walked into today had only the DTX950 which the lady "politely" reminded me that it costs RM25k...

It's about Toland TD4KX vs Alesis DM10.

Hey mate,

Everything isn't really in sync. smile.gif
The guitar sounds out of tune. Try to work a lot more on the mixing, so that everything sounds more cohesive.

Basically, the tone in the whole thing doesn't sound right. smile.gif
Next time, try to work a little more on getting the timing together. biggrin.gif

Get your singer to sing properly too. He sounds like he's hardly trying.

My thoughts. :3

I own a T-5SR with an XSM-5M module.
Hardware is good (quality rack system and toms), minus the cymbals bell part.
Those are really unusable (I hit 10x only managed to get 1x / 2x bell sound!)
They able take some beating, thus suitable for crash cymbal function.
The brain does has very little stuff to play with. The metronome only have a max count of 6 beats..
The pedal is decent and so is the hi-hat.
You wana upgrade the brain and add a better ride cymbal if you want to get this set.
I assume the model you asked should have the quality. eg. better module

thanks for the info bro, yeah my thoughts echo yours. the exterior stuff (looks, rack, etc) is good but the module really left me wanting more. i didnt like the hi hat. they are still viable options though i believe and francis is a really nice guy smile.gif but i think i will be looking at the roland models instead.
