Do you guys use drum mats/rugs for your kits? Renovating my room now, and I think I can squeeze in my kit. FINALLY! And also, I'll definitely be getting a pair of the Lidwish sticks and beaters.

Met 5p3ak earlier today. Nice to finally meet you bro. Enjoy the hats!

Anyway, I'm gonna buy new skins for my kit soon.

I've been using Hydraulics and G2s for the toms, and EMAD for my bass drum batter along with Power Centre Reverse Dots for my snares.

I'm feeling like changing things up a bit. Any suggestions?

HAHA! Nice to meet you too tongue.gif

Hydraulics sounds too dead for me IMO if going unmic situations my ideal set up for heads are coated singly ply for rack toms and clear double ply for Floor Toms.

Tried the PCRD on my friends snare and it's abit weird when u not hitting in the centre... unsure.gif

I find Hydraulics easy to tune, and very durable though. They're very user-friendly if you're going day in day out for just practice reasons and don't have the money to buy new heads once a week. (:

The G2s are my choice for live performances though, and I try to request them as much as possible.

Ahh, yes, but the PCRD also provides for interesting dynamics that you can play around with.

Its easy to tune, maintains its stability too. And durability factor is sky high! And while it sounds a bit dead-er than some heads, on the bright side, you don't need no Moongel or rings for them! And sometimes you just want that sound.

Nope, are they in Malaysia yet?

Ask d tell me...

HH Fusion hats are small but flex.gif quite loud and quite heavy tongue.gif Like the chick and the close sound but the semi open sound not that nice to me(Maybe I still need to get use to it...sounds abit slow)...nevertheless still can't believe I got it for a great price laugh.gif

I just read in the interview that this guy has been playing drum for 3 years. He was the former guitarist and learn to play drum to replace his drummer. He said that he actually play double stroke on the fast double pedal. Amazing! >250bpm
