Only he can help himselflah. If affordability is not an issue, for own stay, anytime is a good time to buy lah. It'll be foolish to wait for the price to come down & eventually ruin your big plans (this is the case for die die also must own a house before getting married).

Or if he doesn't mind, I don't see anything wrong with rent first & buy later or stay with parents first (of course if the parents' house isn't too inconvenient for daily activities).

Boss kochin, i come to know from contrctor that raw material price has drop a lot. say a year back cement price compare now decrease like rm 3-5 steel price also drop. wood too. sand stone im not sure

and materials such as cement, steel, etc are purchase over the long run in a project.
eg you build a tower over more than a year.
hence if you take average pricing, it is relatively stable or trending upwards still.

I'm not in the construction industry, so I don't know much of the raw material cost but I do know that even though the price of crude oil has come down to the lowest in these few years, the price of motor oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, transmission oil & etc remain the same. So why is that so?

When they sell the property years back the cement price is rm 12 but now is 8 automaticaaly the cost is lowered.

About oil crude price is international price not malaysia price u see petrol got drop or not ?
