The gestation period is around 30days for Neocaridina Shrimps. So probably only one shrimplets survive in your case,
Mind to share your water paramenter ? PH , GH , temp and type of soil used?

bro, is cherry shrimplet right?

they will be in transparent color n less than 1mm size, quite hard to spot them. or u can spend an hour or more searching for them smile.gif

btw, normally first few days u wont see them, after around 3 days then u will start seeing them on plants.  rclxms.gif

Yes, the ones i am expecting are fire red shrimplets. So far seen only 2 but suspect they came from the batch of shrimplets i got from arrow. So not from the berried female. Hopefully like what you said, the newborns are hiding now & will emerge soon, and not dead.

I have no luck in bringing down nitrate to zero, i only manage to reduce to 5ppm in 2ft tank, but other smaller tank hanging around 20ppmĀ  tongue.gif . Thinking of using stem plant in breeder box to absorb nitrate but most plants sold are fert & pesticide contaminated. doh.gif
Yes. you should test GH. Lime build-up , what is your tap water PH? or you have any limestone in tank?
*
So difficult to get a GH test kit. EA & Pet Family no stock. Tap water pH is around 7-7.5.

I got the sera GH test kit from 88 petmarts in cheras, call them before you go or try call East aqua at ikano, they better
equip and price a bit cheaper then other east aqua outlet.

The 2 white shrimplets i accidently net in should be around 4-5 days old that time. Wonder how come my two shrimplets survive but not the one born in your tank. hmm.gif , think sang gemok also same case.

Your tap water ph 7-7.5 seem normal, my tap water ph recently running wild , previously was constantly ph 7.6 , now
fluctuating between 6.4 to 6.8 then back to 7.6 , really having a hard time changing water for my sulawesi tank.

I faced this problem too. I suspect is water problem which cause them unhealthy and weak. Then the yamato start to eat them. The sad one is you can see few yamato fighting for one. RCS still moving but they got no energy to escape. I also kacau the yamato to stay away from RCS but it is useless, after few second all come again.

During that time can say my whole batch of RCS die 1 by 1 and the yamato whip them all in front of me. I still keeping the photo. sad.gif

all seem ok to me but how old is the soil?
did you ever vacuum the soil before?
I vacuum my ada new amazonia few times after it establish to get rid of excess dirt/ammonia on the top soil, now rcs breed like mad in the 25L tank, before that suffer one dead per few days.

I bought 2 leopard cory recently from EA (4.50rm each). Inside my tanks are few cherry shrimps. I placed them inside and the first few day are fine. Yesterday I was out the whole day, this morning I tried to search for the shrimps there was only one, though I know they are good at hiding, I wonder does cory and shrimp get along well?

I read online they are fine with adult shrimps, but might snack on frys?

If you have crs , better remove the shrimps first before vacuum, you can put them inside the external breeding tank.
There is a risk when vacuuming ADA soil when it still new cos if not careful, large amount of ammonia will spike.
As my soil is totally mature now, there is no ammonia release when i vacuum the soil but have to be-careful with organic waste release instead.

Vivid color?, as my bushy moss/duckweed cover most top part of the tank, there is not much light on the shrimps, a nice/balance diet/supplements will ensure they have vivid color, darken substrate will also help highlight their color.

wow so generous portion for them , actually 1/3 or 1/4 of the amount is more than enough for them.
