guys just wanna share... i bought this dv6-6001tx laptop keyboard cover from laptopskeyboard.com for only RM23 (free shipping)... although at first i was quite skeptical on wthether to trust this website or not.. but after more than 20 days this laptop keyboard cover arrived... i think it's very worth it

yup..i bought black color...if i don't tell people that my keyboard had a cover, they won't notice it.. and it fits nicely too.. the only drawback is the small light on the enable/disable wifi/f12 key and caps lock won't be visible... but i think that's small price to pay for protecting your keyboard.. for example today i watched how i met your mother while eating lunch.. and laughed until some food tercampak keluar from my mouth.. luckily it ended on the keyboard cover

anyway sorry the delivery is not 20 days... it's more than that.. 1 month ++ i think.. at first i though i won't get it already.. so already bought a small normal keyboard cover for RM5.. 2 days after that only I received this keyboard cover in my postbox

mind to share the temperature of yor system with and without the keyboard cover?

Is this temperature way too high? When i play games like Dota 2 or Assassin's Creed, the temperature will go until there.

The temp still within CPU limit, you can reduce it by setting Coolest on CoolSense or reduce Max Processor State to 99% in Power Management.

Btw, Coolsense v2 only got On and Off toggle. On will disable TurboBoost and increase the fan activity.

mine the same when i have all the settings set to max for AC but dota 2, mine never reach that high as compare to AC.

What is your ambient temperature at that moment?

room temperature. no air-cond.

turbo boosted? anyway.. how it goes with ubuntu 12.04?

TurboBoost=On, Cooler=CM U3, Bottom Panel=Closed, Ambient Temperature=34c, GPU OC = 865/1001@1.51v
Dirt 3 settings = Ultra + 4xMSAA + 4xAF

It is at afternoon and no aircond, so its 30+C I guess.

havent update to it yet. waiting for my finals to finish only balik KL to download the updates.

you can try disable turbboost and open the bottom cover.

ps: you need to take out the battery 1st before u put back the bottom cover or it will mess up the latch..

^ its already in US website for 2 months.. most probably will arrive in May since they already selling it in China.
