where to download?

Hi ppl,

I need some help with my dv6 6100 series laptop. Somehow the turbo-boost for my processor stop working, when i first got my laptop,my processor WEI score is approx 7.4,but now the score topped at 6.3 only. Then i tried to monitor the turbo-boost by installing intel turbo-boost monitor utility. It shows that no matter what activity i did with my lappy, the speed maxxed out at 2Ghz. Any1 with solution?

edit: when im using win8 CP, the turbo-boost works fine when i use the monitor utility to check.

Congratz and welcome to the club.

Uninstall Catalyst 12.3 and install Leshcat 12.2 UnifL UP5. Cat 12.3 and over have sticky clock problem for our laptop and some desktop model. Even when on idle it will use 3D clock profile which is 725/800@1.050v hence u get higher idle temperature.

About the fan, you can't control it at all.
max is 56?
how about your CPU temps?

What is your CoolSense setting?

Started Dota 2 the GPU temp become 70....
CPU temp MAX 82....

The temperature is good enough i guess.. especially Dota 2 is quite heavy when u play it at max settings. You can open the bottom panel for more cooling.

Yes please do that. It just became one of my favorite driver along side DNA 11.8 and Catalyst 11.5b.

What's the different between the lastest dv6 and dv7? and also the price

Performance Optimized. I tried all 3 setting but my processor still wont get pass 2 Ghz....

Biggest different should be the new color and design, new processor and Nvida 6 series GPU =)

why still no news on the new ivybridge dv6 ? when only will be available in malaysia

nope.. no news yet. its already available in china though.. maybe will reach here early next month.

hi there, want to ask what is the latest hotfix for hp dv6001tx?

even after reboot? are u using high performance power plan? can check what is your max processor state in windows power option?

i don't think there is any.

Yup, I tried reboot many times to no avail. It's on high performance as well. How do i check the max processor state? in my power option, theres no such option.
