My thoughts exactly.... u shld see the paint chips on your bumper, bonnet, boot, and even roof, all appear after one year having the car....

Front bumper if chip abit.. just forget it me lah.... the next time u go down the highway at 250KMH u will see your bumper kena machinegun..... chip until pengsan

haha HSK thanks for the advice, see la if they quote for repaint i might go for the roof part only, if they no reply me back i also lazy la, wait few years full repaint lol. but need to send back there or can do outside for full respray/repaint? just afraid that the roof part is abit teruk coz is exposed, but won't so fast kena rust one rite?

my fren help me get the car from ozlee, but my fren is freelancer la. so not really his fault also. lol

Go claim the roof, see their reply.... if can then just do roof.....

The rest just drive happy till you need to repaint the car.... as MeToo said too (heh heh), the front bumper will kena plenty of paint chips in no time, esp if you drive the car..... no need highway, city roads at 80km kena stones oso damn bad....

You can repaint outside, ask around and see whose price and "hand job" (heh heh) is good lor....

1 question: Inspira r3 got 18 inch wheel but the emergency tyre only 16 inch. Plz confirm R3 owner.

Actually, if you dont mind paying more, you can try the paintshop inside Sect 13.... they will have the best ori paint mix... and hopefully they do a better job as they are the authorised paintshop....

u try and find the diameter for 215/45/18 and 205/60/16. then u'll know why and that is the same reason why mitsu force proton to use this weird size.

Just re-read your post... did u go to COE or Sect 13....??? Both these SC have a paintshop and knock shop inside them...

For better insurance and parts claim, you can send your accident-ed car to these workshop... as you still claim insurance ma.... better than those knock shops out there....

You can also pay them to re-paint your car, the Proton Service Advisor will check the prices with the paint shop... so ask him tomorrow.....

I can only give my choice on ur no 3 question.

My rims are 7.5 " wide. For 17" diameter rims, you want to go at least 0.5" wider than stock rims, which i was told to be 6.5". Please, no hard&fast rules, just people/expert's opinion, readily available if you google.

So 7" to 8" is recommendable, if you go for 215 mm wide tyres.

That was the guide i got, and my 2 sen opinion.

haha, i went to COE at Sect 13/Proton Edar Section 13 coz is near my workplace, so they removed the dirts, and retaped portion of the side skirt but its' still came off lolz. no painting today, and yeah i will call the Service Advisor again tomorrow, my job sheet got her name lol. I did ask her to give me a quotation when she called me to take the car and told me what they did, but when i arrived there she already off duty lol.
