I am humbly suggesting here that Kenny is given time to look at and tweak the best version for the 2.0 maps. Do know that several testers were oredi given version 1.3 to test out. Am sure those testers can feed Kenny valuable inputs thereafter.

Coming Friday nite the 16th December, i hope the final version can be released so that those attending tt can have them installed.

Do i sound like pressuring u, Kenny?

Of course, further on tweaking will have to be based on every individual car's dyno run results.

No problem.. further ipgrade all free!! Choose which ever u wan to map..

I wont give if the rom is specifically define for a car

Thanx Kenny. That was very reassuring and very kind of u. I must say i am not silly to be one of the early birds for that particular tuning that u provide , despite not knowing u or anybody here, that time in place.

Now that Kenny has so much, in a way, agreed on that date Friday nite tt 16th December, it is now incumbent upon those who had the latest version of 2.0 maps to report in to Kenny , soon enough for Kenny to see what fine-tuning he can do, if required.

I do know that those testers are very capable to test out all rev bands. Apart from that, they are all very gentlemanly nice people. We can trust them to do all the needy, so that in the upcoming days till friday, we do not have to be bugging Kenny, and also those kind testers too.

I suppose, after the next weekend, most people here go everywhere for the long Xmas & Year End breaks. I would love for everybody to have the best ( from our cars) so that we all can enjoy those long breaks, free from all hassle.

i am trying to kacau kacau turbocharged a bit here, if he dont mind. Make this thread move faster a bit

how about going to Mr Google and look see if pasang lightened crank pulley can gain back some lost torque in ur car. Warranty claim time, if in case required, ask the installer to replace back stock crank pulley!

Any improvement after you fixed?
*
Yes, the pedal feels a bit lighter. No squeaks on my unit, damn lucky even when water poured onto the pulley, as when tested after installing the LCP. No squeaks until today , morning time, rain or shine.

However, squeaks were there on my son's Persona initially 1st year but only in the early morning. By the second year those noises seem to disappear.

Both cars uses the same brand LCP, Mythelogy.

No choice lo they took back my 18" tyre at higher price.

Mana tao now use 225/50 17 feel underpower compare previous 225/40 18...

Sedih i failed cucuk 5siri at highway afternoon.
*
Jack, ur tyre's rolling resistance stays the same, as the same 225 mm width is used. Wider tyres gives greater rolling resistance

The next thing to know is the total weight of new rims+tyres, let us say =N kg. Compare to the weight of ur old rims+tyres, say =L kg.

If N=L, no problems, u wont lose power.
If N is heavier than L, u lose power.

Well, when we change rims+tyres , we dont really check those details beforehand.

Guys, i just changed my bump stopper..got good and bad news.

the good news is, the kluk kluk sound is gone

Bad news, whatever sound at the rear left of the car is still there.

i do get the same things, both , the bump stoppers and the noises still present at rear left. The noise at rear left a bit reduced after bump stopper change.

so, gave any feedback to proton? i just emailed ICARE about this.

what did those guys in COE told u?
i am yet to give proton any feedback. In my case, i see no point in doing that cos proton will easily snap back at me, typically saying "'you change rims + lowering springs".

Put pads every spring coil end, that was what proton told me. Meaning proton knows there are still noises present

If, there were to be new remedial developments of this matter of rear left noise , esp. from u, i will take up this issue again with proton

changed rim will void the suspension warranty ar?

aiya.

Put it this way, turbocharged. Proton replaced my bump stoppers, which is a part ( be it small) of the suspension system. That done despite me having changed rims + springs earlier.

Anyone can give some input  notworthy.gif

I can only give my choice on ur no 3 question.

My rims are 7.5 " wide. For 17" diameter rims, you want to go at least 0.5" wider than stock rims, which i was told to be 6.5". Please, no hard&fast rules, just people/expert's opinion, readily available if you google.

So 7" to 8" is recommendable, if you go for 215 mm wide tyres.

That was the guide i got, and my 2 sen opinion.
