i flashed my non-g to official hk rom which is on 2.3.5 i think..
n the battery seems to be SLIGHTLY better.. nt much diff tho..

I'm using stock 2.3.6 XXKL1 rom.. Its a dev rom n officially available on samfirmware site.. All I can say is its a good rom..

Just updated to Siyah 2.4.2 , will test and keep an update.

Guys I have a question.

My Gmail app always shows emails receive but would take long time to show up on Inbox. For example, I will see Inbox (1) for few minutes before I can see the email received.

Also, my K9 mail works like way faster than Gmail. Hmm! Any suggestion on this please?

You can... via Custom Rom. If you want official Update from Samsung then you'll have to wait until next year

Readily available on the Galaxy Nexus, but not yet on the S II. Update from Samsung probably around mid next year? My feeling is that S III would come with ICS first, then only S II would get the update

i dint open the google map before..

then i charge it around 4plus.. during charge my phone dono auto connect to a website / android market.. but failed to connect cz i disable wifi..
den i sleep..
charge till around almost 10am i wake n unplug then continue sleep till now..
mean my phone i dint touch since 10 till 2+
idle 4hr drain almost 20% - -
this is my ss of batterystat..
how to check which application wake my phone? so many wake as you can see..
i press betterbatterybar > action > alarm is the 2nd ss.. is that show what apps that make our phone wake?








i think i know why the location d..
inb4 i tick the location/security the wifi enable..
now i untick and over 10minute same count..

Yep. I never calibrate my battery.

The tweak for conservative governor is smoother for me. compare to 2.4 and 2.4.1. I was using ondemand on those version until the smoothness of 2.4.2 arrive.

Plus, my USB OTG is working now.

My location and security have always been tick and never had problem. I think i know what your problem is. You were using stock browser? Try disabling location in stock browser.
