Just do not select the default settings ( disable it ) of Friendcaster continually checking and updating your status. Do it at PREFERENCES

Hi, just wanna say hello to this thread, just got my phone almost like 2 weeks ago, still doing nothing much on this phone yet but overall is a nice phone, been aiming for this phone since last year when I played with the Galaxy S, seem to be very nice phone, now the S2 is better than the 1st ver so more fun

I wonder I use the KIES software they ask for update the firmware, so I have updated it from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6, is it ok I wonder, so far like nothing much of a problem.

can a rooted phone perform update like normal using KIES ?
