Guise, what phone covers do you all recommend? is the neo hybrid a good option? if not, what is a good cover?

the good thing about SGP SP is that u can wash it and reapply again. i screwed mine way terrible than urs. mine dropped onto the floor at office, u can imagine it. then some kindsouls tell me dat can wash it or tape it and reuse, den i jz use sabun to wash and its like a new one d. the 3m estoc i bought from eiraku during bulk still sleeping inside my drawer. 

i also wanna to now    current use is Anymode orange color..

If you want something for long term use. Try getting other then Neo hybrid. Cheaper mercury case will served you much better. I'm using happymori hard case but its a bit to cute for guys

dont get you guys how can really drain your battery to almost empty?..mine, once i come back home, my battery left around 60% i already charge to full 100% back..I never let it below 50%...as I need to used my phone 24/7

bro you are using CyanogemMod 7.1 on yr S2 ? What is the feedback like ? I always liked CM roms. Need yr update on stability and also battery consumption.

This is normal for new user, want to test the battery life. it depends on individual when to charge their battery. the best is not to wait it to drain until zero. if 10%-20% should be ok to charge. battery life span also depends on how many time we charge it.

yup using CM7.1 Nightly #106. I would suggest that u flash latest nightlies as they are more stable than the proclaimed 'stable' release. Tested the stable myself too.

Battery consumption is nth great as it depends on individual usage. I'm a heavy user therefore i cant last 1 full day unless i off my phone at night.

However, usability wise, i came back to CM7 even after 1 day flashing other roms like CheckRom Revo v4, hydrog3n, and hyperdroid androidmeda. CM7 has all the things that I needed. U have to try it & judge it urself

guy B's phone 100% drop to 50%, he charges it to 100%, drop to 50%, charges it again to 100%

though guy B charged twice as much, but we can argue that guy B's battery is in better state, because letting lithium ion battery drop to 0% is bad, the best range to stay is within 20% to 80% (according to many articles..)

conclusion: just charge anytime you want, it
doesn't care how many times you charge it, and you don't need to charge all the way up to 100% every time before you unplug!

May I know what advantages cm has over samsung based roms? And as u know cm has no task manager and MyFiles app, can I do a titanium backup then restore on cm? Thanks.

Should be ok. the power will not continue charging after the battery is full. our phone is advance enough to have auto cut off when the charging is complete. right me if i'm wrong

Cyanogenmod has plenty of own customizations in UI, tweaks, keyboard, statusbar, etc etc. its hard for me to explain and it would be best if u could perform a nandroid backup of ur current rom, then hop to CM7 to test it for few days.

U might not get used to CM7 so fast but after few days of exploring, u will get a hang of how things work in there. If u find that CM7 is not up to ur liking, juz restore ur rom from ur nandroid backup this should be the best way.

U actually dont need unlimited. 1GB package should be more then enough.
I was on the 5GB plan earlier. Then I realize I am on WiFi (unifi 20mbps) when I am at home. Its way faster then using telco internet connection.

I turn on my data when I am out. Quite heavy usage also myself (Whatsapp, viber, YM, Skype, MSN, GTalk, BBC news, YouTube, and LYN browsing-PMing, Push mail activated - GMAIL 24 hrs a day.)

I still cant reach the 1GB quota. I also tether sometimes for light surfing and youtube where there is no wifi connection for my netbook/galaxy tab.

So my advise is get the 1GB (RM48 plan) if not enough then you can upgrade as there is no contract.

Let me enlighten, I am on DiGi Postpaid. I am not tied down with any phone contract. So I have the benefit of jumping packages/terminating my data package whenever I want.

I have also include Maxis/Celcom/UMobile data plans. To me their plans are the most ridiculous. Its extremely overpriced.

UMobile plans are also interesting and reasonable. Issue is their customer service is never reachable. No emails are replied. No twitter complains will be entertained. So its basically a telco to choose if you are not a very serious business user. Internet is super fast at certain location. DR - Domestic Roaming capability, which means you can jump onto Celcom coverage where there is poor coverage of signal. Other then that nothing much.

Hope this sheds some light on those who are planning to get a data package bundled with their postpaid lines. I would definitely encourage a data plan with a smartphone. Without a data plan a smartphone is not very smart.
